This was our 4th stay in Treasure Island and this was by far our best experience yet. The location is perfect and is in walking distance to all Treasure Island has to offer. We had a poolside suite with a kitchen. There are tables right outside on the balcony that we used during our entire trip. We have kids ages 9 and 11 and were able to watch them swim from our balcony and they enjoyed fun pool toys. The staff are all very friendly and always willing to help with whatever you need and they keep the grounds very well maintained. Tahitian also has an area across the street on the canal we call paradise. It’s a very nice place to relax. We loved the amenities including shuffle board, pool table, corn hole, badminton, and fireplaces. We will be booking next year as well!
I booked a 2 night stay the very first night we started to have plumming issuses around 1am finally got a maintenance guy to give a plunger to plung the toilet!!! He assured us that the plummer guy would be there in 30 minutes no one ever showed up so we had to go over to the Walgreens down the street to use the bathroom at 2 am in the morning!!! The next morning the toilet had started to back up in the shower so we finally went back to our resident to shower and we had hoped the plumming would be fixed by the time we returned.... NOTHING!!! I then decided to check out at 11am and of course ANGRY! Went to the office spoke to Drew and not one time he offered us another room or even tried to rectify the problem. I asked for a refund and he assured me I'll get one. The next morning Sebastian called and said items was missing from the room and that he had us on camera throwing away linen in the trash!!! THis is ABSURD!!!! I would love to talk to the General Manger but of course they Sebastian refused to give me any contact number!! I will never in life book this hotel again!!!!! Still waiting on a response for my refund!!!…
Don't waste your time, I booked this hotel by calling front desk and desk clerk Drew lied to me, I told him I wanted a room for one night by the pool, I drove 3 hrs and when we checked in he said room is by the pool, I got the key walked towards room and saw no water in pool so turned around and said I didn't want to stay. Parking lot was so crowded no parking hardly, and the pics on website are so misleading. I felt a serious bad vibe at this property and decline to stay and no refund so I'm out $233.00. I asked if I could get a rain check for when pool was operational and they had available rooms and they would not budge, consider me totally unsatisfied. The front desk refer to some mystery manager named Emily who never retuned my calls. This establishment will rip you off so go elsewhere, we ended up a a small beachfront place up the road called "I Beach" and loved it and the folks that run it.…
We booked this place for 2 days before our cruise. When we arrived, you couldn’t even see the beach it was a long walk out to the water, the pool was drained, no water. Our room was across the busy Street. It was awful. We canceled our reservation and they would not refund any money. We were charged $ 460.00 and we never even got the key to the room. Be careful booking
Well, the beachfront resort room I expected turned out to be a cheap bungalow across the street nowhere near any water. I will say the bed was comfortable. Who knows? Maybe I place too much value on things. So, actually, the room was perfect if A) the beach isn't important; B) no pool nearby is OK; C) a loud air conditioner that sounds like trucks rumbling by all night is your idea of soothing sleep; D) you're in Florida to escape the beach, pool and air conditioner. I haven't met that person yet.
We've stayed at this location twice before in 2018-19 and they've now got new owners. They're so much more family oriented with fun games and kids items available The rooms are freshly updated and they've also purchased another property with a nice pool across the street so now have two Bay Side and the main units gulf side. FYI -the Gulf side pool does not really have a shallow end (starts at 4') but the Bayside pool does - both are available for all guests. Good to know if you have small children. It's also more secluded and tranquil over on Bayside. We had our 7 year old granddaughter with and she met and played with other kids all week. We don't remember seeing any families at all the last two times we were there. FYI - the efficiency rooms poolside on the Gulf do not have cooktop, little tables, utensils or a freezer compartment so go to Publix and stock up. There's a little fridge and microwave with K Cup coffee maker. When we stayed before our efficiency rooms poolside did have everything needed but if you know you can prepare. There are large charcoal grills - bring your own charcoal and fluid. Beds are soft and comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful and will accommodate whatever you need when they can. Rooms and facilities are clean. We love the Old Florida charm of the motel and location can't be beat for the beach, restaurants, good people and fun. We will definitely be back again with our granddaughter. …
We had an amazing time, only one night but it was a great place. Room is big and nice and well maintained. Location is amazing, 5-7 min walk to great restaurants and ice cream places. Everyone was great. Highly recommended. Recommend rooms on the beach side
We had a room on the second floor by the pool. It was clean and comfy., close to the beach. Lots of friendly guests, quiet in the evening. Manager Jessica was very helpful and even called us on the second day to see if there was anything else she could do for us.
The motel was very nice we had a really nice time until after check out my daughter received a phone call with accusations that My daughters and i had stolen a $30.00 Coffee maker.. That was so humiliating my girls and i are hard working honest people there was never a coffee maker in the room. They should do a walk through before renting the rooms out to the next guess. My daughter left the cleaning lady a $25.00 tip even though the room was not left a mess why wouldn't we have just taken the $25.00 and bought our own coffee maker this is a ridiculous accusation because of this people should be more aware of what the accommodation really actually are take picture as we did.
A friend and I went to the Tahitian in Treasure Island a week ago- it was a fantastic place to be. New owners have redone areas- refurbished rooms, brought in wonderful tables, chairs, new coverings for outside. Our room ( 2 queens) had a phenomenal view and was SO clean. The front desk people were amazing, as was housekeeping. I cannot say enough about this place! Stayed 4 nights- will definitely be back on the next Florida trip!
