It’s a wonderful location to spend with a group of friends. We had the entire property to ourselves. The beach is right there and the view is beautiful. Clean bungalows, easy beach access. Walking distance to bars for music and food.

We absolutely loved the Sunset Beach House for our daughter's wedding on Mother's day this year. The location and weather were perfect and the backyard and beach offered the perfect spot for a wedding. We had almost 100 guests and were able to accommodate the ceremony, tables for dinner, tent, dj, bartender and an awesome view. The house was great for the guests that were staying and there is nearby lodging for guests not staying at the beach house. It was an awesome wedding and we really appreciate being able to be there! A time to remember for the bride, groom, and all family/friends who attended!

Sunset Beach is a small beach in a quaint area of Treasure Island. The gulf waters are clear, no signs of jelly fish. Dolphins swim not far from shore. There's a lot of road construction and detours. Its still accessible, but a bit noisy. That's my reason for giving it a 4 not 5.

Their website has an availability calendar for each suite and you can book directly from the site. The calendar for every single suite shows that all of them are available for the dates my family is vacationing. Rather than immediately book, we wanted to ask questions first. Days ago, I used the contact box on their site to send a message. Never got a reply. So my husband called one morning and the voicemail said we'd get a return call in 24 hours and, in the meantime, I sent an email in case that's the preferred way to contact. But no call came the next day and I never received an email back. So after two days, my husband called again and left another voicemail stating this was his second call and his wife had emailed. He got a call back saying they're all booked for all of March and all of April. Well, that's the opposite of what the website says... I just can't appreciate not receiving a quick reply when everyone else we've contacted replies well before 24 hours have passed and also can't appreciate that either their website is blatantly incorrect or they've given us misinformation.

I stayed at the Sunset Beach House for one week in February. The whole experience was delightful. It’s a beautiful oasis in a highly developed beach area. For those who have any mobility problems, it’s only about 80 steps from the back door to splish-splashing in the Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets were so fabulous—I think in two days I took 500 photos. The beach is lovely either way you go. I took a walk in the morning and at sunset. Caddy’s On the Beach Restaurant is a very short walk—I went there twice to pick up a carryout. Everything at the Sunset Beach House looks exactly as depicted on the website. The bed was comfortable and the décor very beachy. I never got tired of the view. Beach Hugger 3 is awesome—you can sit at the kitchen table and just breathe in the stunning view. Leaving for the airport before sunrise I saw the most amazing full moon scene on the beach. (Photo number 999.) As a vacation area, the beach was never crowded—very enjoyable. The biggest crowd on the beach was closer to the main intersection near the Bilmar. I’ve traveled to Florida in either January or February escaping the cold north for many years and this property is just ideal. When I called, there was a special discount so the price was great and I received my rental deposit back very quickly. In fact, I should probably have told them to keep it for next year.
