I stayed at the brand new Oceana BeachFront Suites, which has rooms not only on the Treasure Coast Beach, however also the intercoastal waterway. The two building is brand new, modern, has high end finishes and stunning views. The Staff is very friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The Director of Sales Mandy was extremely helpful, and when having left an item behind immediately reached out to return the next day. Great for both single travelers and families as there is gorgeous kitchen, living room and dining room so tasteful that we hardly ever left the unit! Two pools, however nothing compares to the white sands of the Gulf steps from the property. Definitely will return again!
The property was very clean and in a great location. I would suggest booking in the building on the gulf rather than on the canal. Our ocean view room was beautiful and we enjoyed morning walks on the beach with our 6 and 9 year old boys. The heated pool and hot tub was enjoyed daily. The boys were excited to be able to swim in December despite 65-70 degree days. The pool was really warm! My only complaint is the sign in the room said towels would be replaced, garbages emptied, toilet paper/soaps replenished every second day. We were there 5 days and this never happened. We ran out of toilet paper in one bathroom.
We stayed at the gulf side of the resort from 12/26 to 12/29. On our second night of our stay at 7:30, we were sitting on our deck and noticed a man and woman in the hot tub had removed their swimsuit bottoms and proceeded to get busy in the hot tub. I called the front desk and they immediately came over to stop it. Where I was disappointed was they didn’t close off the hot tub for cleaning and allowed the couple to continue to hang out in the hot tub. Multiple people ended up going into the hot tub after. I cannot believe there wasn’t more concern about the body fluids floating in the hot tub during a pandemic. I was there with my two kids and was uncomfortable to have to explain what these two were doing in the hot tub. Also, they are a beach resort that doesn’t provide any beach towels to their customers. No beach towels in the hotel room. Asked front desk and they provide no beach towels to their hotel guests. So be mindful that you will have to buy beach towels if you are from out of town. Location was great and all rooms have a beautiful view of the gulf.…
This property is gorgeous and almost perfect. Weather issues extended our stay, so we ended up staying on both the gulf front and bay sides and I'm glad we got to experience both. The suites are modern and well-appointed. Beds are very comfortable and the full kitchens make for a nice and covid-friendly stay. Loved the hot tubs and pools on each side. That said, there were some issues during our stay that are likely due to management. Shawn checked us in and handled the hot mess that had been handed to him as brilliantly as possible. Apparently the person before his shift is getting ready to leave the company and left him in the lurch, said rooms were ready that weren't cleaned and gave him no handoff to go from. This naturally caused complaints from some guests. Megan was also friendly and responsive when we needed help. Also, I didn't catch her name, but a woman who appeared to be with facilities/maintenance was awesome when we asked to borrow a small extension cord. But here are some of the "easy" misses: We noticed a lack of cleaning in both rooms we stayed in -- dark drink rings on surfaces, popcorn pieces in furniture and on floors, dirty utensils in the knife block and silverware drawer, smears on walls and patio doors. We're not germophobes, but it does make you wonder what else didn't get cleaned. We found several times when we called the front desk either from our mobiles or our room phone that there was no answer. I also went to the front desk to pay for our weather-induced extended stay and waited over 15 minutes for Mandy to reappear with other guests in line behind me. We learned later that this was due to the multiple smoke breaks she was taking during the day by the dumpsters with another employee. The icing on the cake that illustrated it all was during our last night there. When my call to the front desk went unanswered (with no voice mail system to take a message), our room phone rang about 30 minutes later. I answered, and a voice on the other end just said "Front Desk." Weird -- when I paused, she said, "Oh, I was checking someone in when the phone rang." OK, how about, "Sorry I missed you earlier, how can I help now?" Later, this same clerk came by the hot tub at 8:45 PM and demanded we and others get out because it was closed. We knew from check in and prior nights there that the pools/hot tubs were open from 9 to 9,, but she said, "Nope, get out." Amazing place with premium price but budget service with major issues.…
Would definitely stay here again, as everything was perfect and at a great price point! Property was new, clean, and in the perfect location! We loved the ocean view, quiet, beautiful beach, and heated pool and hot tub on the beach. The staff was always very nice & helpful! The kitchen and space was perfect for our family of 4, and we can’t wait to stay again!
