Horrible experience !!! This hotel is our biggest mistake in 2021. The owner is extremely rude and impolite. When we first enter the front desk (which is actually their home)he said ‘what’ and i shocked and then he repeated like ‘what do you want.’ This is how he welcomes you!! He was so greedy. During check in, we just asked if they have breakfast and he answered like “you paid nothing why you ask for the breakfast “(because we got $110/night price by hotels.com). Then, he blamed our low price when we asked for the softer pillows or trying to getting some ice from the ice-machine or upgrade the king bed ( which we were ready to pay extra but he wanted $117 however it’s $12 at hotels.com) We didn’t expect too much, i’m not even talking about dirty sheets, awful smell in the room, no light except bedside lamps or barely working air conditioner or he can not speak english properly. The worst thing happened at our last day when we said him that his attitudes were unacceptable and he started to insult us ! We tried to cancel our last day but it didn’t work. He blamed us not following their rules just because of that we use the common ice machine with 3 handful ice! I never ever advice this place to anyone, sleep in your car instead of staying here !!!

Location is great. Across from the beach. It's more of a budget hotel so I understood that but it just seems it was a little too 'budgety' for being so close to the beach. Maybe my expectation is unrealistic but just felt like it could be a little nicer to match the environment. Rooms are ok but do not really give a inviting feel or a welcome to the beach feel. Just need the vibe of the place to reflect the environment and improve rooms a bit.

Upon checking up I questioned the front desk about the added $10 per day charge that was not included in my original booking that I made through their website. When I continued to question them when I was eventual met with insults and disrespectful comments in from of my 6 year old daughter and was eventual told to leave because they didnt need my business. Apparently others have had similar issues where upon check in they are charged a Misc fee not originally quoted. I will be reporting this business to BBB as well as other entities to investigate this potential scam operation.

Their description of the hotel and reality are pretty far apart. The newly remodeled rooms still look like they are from the 50's/60's. There was a "kitchenette' but you could almost have made coffee from the bed! The vertical blind on the front window was missing slats so that the outside lights shined in and people could look right into the room. The back area where the boat slips are isn't easily accessible and really underutilized. The soap, shampoo, etc. was really very skimpy. This motel needs to call itself a mom and pop motel and not a "resort".The bed was very comfortable, but all in all it really wasn't worth the money we paid to stay there.

We booked a room online and it asked for a time of arrival. We had a late flight, I put 11:45 PM. We arrived before that time. When we got there, the place was dark with a phone number on the door. We called and said we there to check in. The manager, who apparently lives on site, came down and said that when she tried to charge our credit card, it was declined (due to Bank of America security) so she cancelled our reservation. There was a room for that night, but she had already booked the room for the rest of our stay. She claimed she tried to call, but I had no messages on either my cell phone or my home phone. Perhaps she had the wrong number, but it likely wouldn't have mattered anyway since I was probably on the plane at the time she supposedly called . If I hadn't shown up for several hours pass my arrival time, I could understand that, but to cancel someone's reservation *before* their stated arrival time seems inappropriate to me.
