We paid more money to stay in a canal view deluxe room for 6 nights. We were put in Room 129. This room did not match what the advertising and photos showed. We were not happy with it being less than expected. This was not worth the price and the stay was interrupted with NOISE! - people constantly talking/drinking/visiting at the canal in the chairs right outside our room door until 1 am. Then room 130 with a couple who ended up having the sheriffs/police being called by others was really an interruption to our quiet get-a-way for 2 days before he was hauled off in handcuffs the following day. There was so much swearing and yelling going on by them! We are from WI and were really looking forward to this stay at Creekside. It was not at all relaxing. We were not happy with the room in the following ways: The shower pressure was VERY LOW and it took forever to wash hair at any time of day. Light streaming through the glass doors and the window blinds due to the outside lights being on outside the door and window. This interrupted our sleep every night. Difficult parking area outside our room undercover. Tight fit. Stone parking lot noisy with cars driving over it. Constant noise from the bar directly to the left of us every evening until 10 pm and later with the patrons not leaving the area after closing. Paddle board business next door to us having people next to our relaxation area outside our door during the day. Constant boats docking right in front of our room with loud radios, etc. Difficulty getting to the pool - had to walk around buildings and backtrack past the restaurant in front of the diners to access it. Dripping water from the above floor AC units right in front of our entry door area that we had to walk through to get into our room. This made our floors very dirty. Glass table top on the room table not attached and can’t lean arms or elbows on it without it lifting up and threatening to fall off if didn't immediately remove your arms. Asked for new batteries for the dead TV remote and never got them. NO SMART TV for Netflix or other apps. So only cable. Annoying bedspread that was polyester and kept falling off the bed during the night due to being slippery. Too small of a beverage fridge. So don't plan on bringing a cooler like we did! No love seat or couch to sit on. The cleaning staff were awesome. No issues there. But the men in the red pickup truck who work there were loitering and pulling into the undercover parking spot by us every day and smoking and having loud music.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights (3/11 - 3/17/2021). We had a standard king that faced the parking lot (not the courtyard as the information suggests) and was small, dark and dismal. There was a light that hung outside of the frosted window, so the room was lit up all night long, but the only way to actually see outside, was a tiny sliding window in the bathroom. The room was pretty clean and remodeled recently, but the shower had no water pressure and never really got hot. We asked the front desk on the third day to have it looked at, but that never happened!! The front desk is ran by three young kids that have no personality. I don't think that I ever got a smile and another guest told me that she got an eye roll when she asked too many questions!!! When we got in before 4 for check-in, we asked for a place to change until we were able to get into our room. We were sent to the restaurant next door to use their bathroom. Very poor customer service. There are two pools, but only the one next to the restaurant can be used. Not sure why??? Our room was over $300 a night after tax and was like staying at a Motel 6 and worth $35 a night. I would never recommend the wasted money on this location to anyone that wants to enjoy the Florida Keys. Do your research, there are so many better locations to stay. A plus to the area is the restaurant next door that serves great food. This was a great place for breakfast and nice that we only had to walk next door. There is also a Paddle shop down the road (easy walk) that rents kayaks and paddle boards that can be used in the canals, a seafood restaurant that was open on the weekend and a bait/charter store a few doors down. These places were a plus to the location.

Room Tip: Only rooms facing the canal have a decent view.

Booked a weekend trip to fish with some friends. I was notified a few days before my trip I had a close contact with someone Covid positive. Airline - full refund, Rental Car - no charge. Rented Charter Boat - full refund of deposit. Creekside - took my money and no refund. I will not give them another chance.

Planned a weekend getaway to explore the Keys but didn’t setup accommodations until last minute. Big mistake. The Creekside Inn was the only place with availability left in the Keys and the price for a room definitely reflected that. We paid a premium to be able to stay at your facility that night and expected a certain level of quality that was not met. Initially, we arrived to your hotel at about 2PM to find out we could not check in until about 4PM (after seeing some other guests check in prior). We understand we may have been in a different style room - no big deal. Finally, at 4PM, is when we arrived in our room to find it obviously untouched with beer and dirty face masks and pizza tossed throughout. If it truly were the case that you were behind on housekeeping, as the front desk, Heather, mentioned, why would we still be given the keys? You would also think the staff would offer to contact us when the room would be ready. Instead, we had to keep checking back with the front desk. We opened the door to our room to an uncovered pizza pressed into the floor. 🤢Your staff had five hours to clean the room. To have to walk into a dirty room during a pandemic, especially, is unfair and a risk to our health. It is short-sighted to think anything less than that. Any accommodation that I asked for during this time was rejected as well. A towel to use to wait by pool while the room was finally cleaned, use of the bathroom. I’ve never seen such a lack of service from a hotel and we were nothing but respectful and patient. We had a restaurant reservation at 6 that we had to miss because we weren’t able to get ready. On top of this, one of the swimming pools was closed without warning on your website. I just find this all to be a disgusting display of greed and a heavy blunder on your part that warrants reparation. When we expressed our disappointment, Heather stated that she spoke to you and no compensation would be provided.  When we called and emailed to express our disappointment and concerns - radio silence. To put it clearly, Laura, management and the Creekside Inn truly don’t hold an ounce of care or respect for their guests. If you have your choice and you’re not desperate, please pass on this place - they absolutely don’t have any respect for their customers. TripAdvisor does a great job of collecting all of their less than stellar reviews for you to come to your own conclusion about the business of this hotel. Guests are an afterthought if that. They demand a non-refundable booking fee because they’re so confident that your stay will disappoint. *P.S. The travel channel documented how bad management and customer service is in their series “Hotel Impossible.” Absolutely wild how everything that was touched on in their series regarding management and guest relations at this place in 2014 is still true. Nothing at all has changed. Where is their humanity? **P.S.S I’ve also come to find out that there’s been multiple kidnappings, shootings and murders that management has been attempting to sweep under the rug. Chills 🥶 Please like this post if you find this helpful!

Loved this place! My husband and I planned to bring our boat, and we love how you can dock and store the boat right outside your room! (We did not end up bringing it because it was windy) but the view from our balcony was gorgeous and peaceful. The rooms were very spacious and beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. The pool is nice (there are two, but one was closed at the time of our visit), my only criticism is there was no hot tub. The on-site restaurant was very good for breakfast. The front desk workers were kind and provided us with ice. There are also several good restaurants within walking or biking distance. We will be back!
