Stayed for a friend’s wedding weekend. We had a beautiful casita suite that was perfect for our family of 4. Right next to oystercatchers and the pool. It was perfect. 5star cust service. They took great care of our family and fixed our reservation after a flight cancellation put us in a day late. Would love to stay again!

This is the 2nd time my wife and I stayed at this property. It was in as good or better condition than our last visit, 7 years ago. For a Grand Hyatt, it's smaller and more relaxed than other Grands, but the amenities and services are terrific! We love Hyatts and we rate their loyalty program #1 across all consumer categories.

Nicely situated on the bay with beautiful boardwalk leading to sunset views across the water. Multiple pools, direct access to paved walking/biking trail that borders the bay, large workout facility. Set up nicely for business meetings with many areas to sit for private discussions.

We spent 3 nights in bay front rooms this past weekend. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The staff were all very attentive, the rooms were spotless, the breakfast buffet was more than expected and the food at the 1823 restaurant very tasty, though the menu is quite limited. The pools are very small so we did not spend much time at them and food and beverage service at the pools was spotty. The views of the Tampa Bay are spectacular from the upper floors. We stayed on the 8th floor and although higher may have been a little nicer, the 8th floor was just fine for a great view. The bike rentals are great and a ride across the causeway is nice. We borrowed the "beach kit" for a day which included chairs, an umbrella and a cooler, a nice touch. The boardwalk is a nice way to wind down and we did see lots of birds, bunnies and a few manatees. All in all a great stay and we would love to return one day. Some spa amenities, extended menus at both restaurants and larger pools would make this a real gem.

Truly a great place to relax and escape for a few days. Grand Hyatt staff were all very professional, personable, and helpful. Oyster Catchers restaurant was great. Hoping a rooftop restaurant will replace the former Armani's soon.

This was the worst check-in process I have ever had. We had one of four rooms booked for two days for my son's wedding at the gazebo. I booked our room, 2044, in December 2021 on the Grand Hyatt site. Early in the week of arrival, and again on the day of our arrival, I checked the military rate (husband is a vet), and it was coming up as $259.00/night. We had booked at $299.00/night. Instead of canceling the room and rebooking, I thought, surely the hotel would honor the lower price instead of me taxing their reservation system by canceling and rebooking since I had given the courtesy of a five-month advance notice of booking. Boy, was I wrong. The clerk not only refused this request (he said they do not price match), but the manager standing next to him reiterated the same thing only after I addressed her personnally. This request wasn't a price match from someone else's site, but a request to reduce to your current rate. They were quite rude about it which set the tone for the weekend. The charge was put through before I had a disposition on my request, possibly as my son was checking in at the same time with another clerk. My son also received my room key, so we ended up having to go back to straighten that out. I also gave the clerk a different credit card to put through the room, but the credit card that was left as a deposit was charged. I told the manager I was extremely disappointed in their response to my request and the way they handled the situation. I have never experienced such an uninviting welcome at a hotel. PS. The rooms smelled musty and the shutters were broken in room 2044. The carpeting was filthy in the LR of my son's Casita suite.

Had a great time at this property. Hotel was nice, clean, pool bartender Kelly was wonderful! Hotel wasn't really near anything, but we rented a car so it was pretty easy to get around. Never got a chance to get to the second pool. Apparently it's like a 10 minute walk (or a cart ride) away. Overall had a great experience at this hotel.

They lost my package morning of a conference, even after I showed them tracking number and they identified which employee signed for it. Made me wait for the employee to "come in early" to find it. He didn't. I was late to my meeting. They called me 2 hrs after the 15 min they promised me, said they found the package, and tried to blame me for not being able to find it... yeah. Then I placed an order for room service. Said it would be 30 min for a club sandwich. Its been 1.5 hours and nothing. I have called room service +5 times, called concierge, and even called all available hotel numbers from my cell phone and there is literally no one available. Makes me wonder if there is something going on like a staff strike or something to have NO ONE avaliable to just take a call. Don't stay here if you expect professional service. It's not worth it at all.
