My wife and I stayed at the Barrymore Hotel from 2/20 to 2/23 so we could attend Wicked at the Straz Center. From the time we checked in to the day we left the staff was helpful and friendly. This started at the front desk where we met Cara who explained the features of the hotel and helped us schedule...

The bottom line - we would go back. Great location (walked the length of the Riverwalk, near downtown). OUR room was fine. Fridge/microwave. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Nice pool area. Reception staff was good. We got great/prompt service by e-mail in advance from Donna Little at the hotel. Close to the cruise port. We did find the restaurant very pricey. Suggest...

We wanted to stay close to the Straz and decided to try the Barrymore based on location. We are glad we did! It is dated, no doubt about it, but the service at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room were really good. The little kitchen served a nice breakfast in the morning. Will stay there again for...

The Barrymore hotel along the riverwalk was an average room. The hotel appeared slightly dated but clean. The price was good and we only needed to stay the night. The best part was the very friendly staff. I would stay there again due to the location close to the riverwalk and the port. They have a shuttle service that will...

My wife and I stayed at the Barrymore after seeing Bon Jove at Amalie. We chose this hotel for the location (about a mile from the arena along the Riverwalk. We had a room with a view of the river. We were very happy with the quality of the hotel and our room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was...

Very busy hotel, fast check in. Limited parking available at site for size of hotel however off site parking provided. You can hear people in halls from your room. Clean and acceptable accommodations.

My wife attended a conference in Tampa and this was the hotel that her friends were at so we stayed here. Hotel is mostly updated. We had a nice view of the river from our room. I did notice our bathroom tub needed updating. Also very odd but there were no emergency evacuation placards on our room door. Emergency Management...

Great value for money. Withing walking distance for music recitals for example, but a nice walk to other attractions. Very nice staff, solving quickly any issues. They might have had some issues with their customers, they ask for payment up front. We were traveling from outside the US and they let us check in by paying one night, then asked...

The bathrooms were clean, but dated. The other facilities were quite nice. And the location is great. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it was adequate. Service was a bit slow and the food was a bit uninteresting.
