Kate is great! Had a wonderful time at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful - I highly recommend taking a tour with Kate. Check in was efficient and friendly and I loooooved the complimentary glass of wine :) Kate made my stay great! Can’t wait to come back!!!
The service in this hotel is outstanding! I needed help with getting a gift to a guest, and Michelle at the front desk was amazingly helpful! She went above and beyond, and made my life easy!! I was given amazing recommendations and was accommodated in every way. Such amazing help!
My wife and I checked in super late after delayed flights and Wayne at the front desk warmly welcomed us and treated us to glasses of wine. Our bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked and spacious. The hotel is in an area that feels like a neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants. Don't miss Bern's Steakhouse across the street! Hotel valet Isaac took good care of us. We loved our stay and would happily stay again!
We chose to stay here for our 1 week vacation. It’s been wonderful. The hotel itself is very nice and in an excellent location. The hotel is clean and the staff all very helpful particularly Damien who was incredibly kind and attentive at breakfast time. Our only negative would be noise from upper floors (perhaps the hotel could put something in the doors so the slamming can’t be heard as loudly in a room below) and the fact that private functions meant we couldn’t use the pool some days. Aside from these two minor things we would highly recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again over anywhere else.
Very nice stay for a wedding. Well situated in SoHo (South Howard) which boasts some great restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly. The focus is on wine and food. The wine shop in the hotel is fantastic. The valet parking is easy and reasonably priced. The rooms were well appointed Ted and clean. Best hotel shower ever! The pool was small but nice. Great walking on Bayshore Drive. No complaints. Oh, directly across the street from Bern’s Steakhouse!!! Don’t miss!
What can I say. This hotel is our home away from home. The staff..Lauren, Morgan, Harmony, Kate, Darren, Frank and Margarita were wonderful! Joanna booked us a reservation at Bern’s dessert room. Fantastic! Frank made our experience at Elevage unforgettable! His recommendations and attention to detail made the difference. Everyone we met including the housekeepers were really fantastic and very friendly! We’ll be back!
Took my wife for a romantic weekend away with the Epicurean as our hotel. Everything about our stay was terrific. The lobby and first-floor restaurants are very well-appointed and with great "flow" from one area into another. The food was terrific. So good, in fact - that we canceled our reservations at a nearby restaurant on our second night to dine with the Epicurean; again. The room was superbly classy. Modern, with a nod to the history of the area with some classic touches. Special mention goes out to Morgan Mitchell for co-coordinating some very special and personalized touches to the room for my wife. Thank you, Morgan! - J. Brown.
We planned a trip to Tampa for our Anniversary and stayed here on the recommendation of a Tampa local. Upon arrival, three to four people stood in the lobby. It seemed rather cramped to have this many employees crowding the space. The welcome was average, but they did offer a comp glass of wine. Upon entering our room, we noticed it was fairly cramped. What was most concerning was the condition of the bathroom. The shower floor was so filled with hard water and soap scum that I couldn’t tell if the grout was supposed to be black or white. We did not go barefoot on the floor at all. Also of concern was the peeling ceiling in the shower. It felt akin to the bathroom of a hostel or dorm. We were appalled by the conditions. After that experience, we decided that it wasn’t worth spending any more money on food, wine, or any “amenities” offered by the establishment. Would NOT stay here again. Save your $500/night and stay someplace like The Heights.…
The people make the difference here. Kate and the front desk people were all friendly and on point. Every request was dealt with immediately. The food and atmosphere are enough by itself, add the great people like Kim and Naz and Tomika at Evangeline's spa and you will get an experience worth every penny.
Me wife and I are Titanium Elite Marriott Members and love the autograph brand. The hotel and staff were magnificent. Especially Morgan and Michelle who consistently went above and beyond on everything from restaurant recommendations to walking directions. They were amazing. We wound up extending to 6 nights and are already planning to come back.
