This place is great if you like an old feel with modern touches. The hotel has been restored to its original style with modern features like flat screen tvs and nice beds. The staff was great our bartender/ waiter was new to the hotel but was very friendly and helpful and knew his job well. We had booked a room...

While the Floridan Palace is a beautiful hotel with all the historic appointments, it lacks in the pleasantries of a modern hotel. Our large room, with two queen beds, was clean, however, the placement of the tv on a side wall of the room made it difficult to watch tv from your bed (you had to lay on your side)....

We traveled to Tampa for National Championship game. The rooms were freezing - heat was broken and they were "out of blankets". They did fix it the next day but the first night was shot because we couldn't sleep. Our grown sons in the next room had to shower in our room becuase they had no water pressure. There were...

We needed a last minute place to stay on a night when all the hotels in Tampa were booked. Despite arriving late, the staff greeted us warmly and treated us like honored guests. I can't say enough positive things about Camille, who helped put a comforting end to a long day. Thank you!

A short stop on our honeymoon for the National Championship game. Two basic expectations for rooms in that you want a nice toilet, shower, bathroom and a clean bed to sleep in. The Floridan provides neither! Water pressure is terrible it is nearly impossible to have a shower. Our bed had a huge stain in it (see picture) when we...

This hotel was terrible. Bad staff that was unhelpful. Beds in room didn't have comforters, towels, sheets and toilet paper were terrible. I would much prefer staying at a Hampton inn that is reliable rather than this place.

This gorgeous hotel was in a newly revitalized (still ongoing) area of Tampa. Unfortunately for the hotel it isn't crowded. The hotel itself is an historic gem brought back to life. They could have used a few small amenities like a soda machine and ice machines on the floors. We were close to the only people staying there so it...

My wife and I reserved 2 rooms for the Groomsmen in our Son's wedding. We did this to provide a comfortable atmosphere for them after the rehearsal dinner and their night on the town. Our expectations were met and exceeded by this Grand Lady. She has been restored to her former glory and is staffed by those who clearly care...

The worst stay at a hotel…the Floridian Palace in Tampa. This was an anniversary trip. It started out being placed on the 19th floor. Normally, this would be ok, however, the reason we had NO hot water was because We were so high up, so they told us. The tub had a hole that had been repaired, still With NO...

This is a small older hotel that has been redone and is lovely. Our room was huge and beautifully furnished. The lobby is gorgeous with a decorative ceiling and crystal chandeliers. Everything was clean and well cared for. There is a $15 fee for parking/day. The lot is adjacent to the hotel, so easy access. There is no breakfast or...
