Never stayed in a place this bad. Reeks of cigarettes in the hotel towers. Coughed my lungs out. I don’t smoke. Played big poker machines and asked for a host to rate my play. Can’t see one unless invited. Council Oak steakhouse is very good. Everything else is terrible. Do yourself a favor Don’t come here. Supposedly because of COVID no cleaning of the rooms. Asked for some cleaning stuff for the bathroom after four day stay. Nada. This is the very worst place I have ever visited. Low class all the way. Go to Motel 6 and visit here if you want to gamble.
Impeccably clean, large rooms, in a pleasant setting. Free parking. Staff was courteous and helpful. Excellent value for the money. Slot machines very generous, in the sense that compared to other casinos, with same money we could play much longer and have much more fun. Downer: no “real” roulette tables, just the automatic ones. Overall, best stay at a casino, hotel + casino combined, will be back!
Let me say that we stay at the Hard Rock Tampa at least six times a year. It’s a great get away for us, However Room Service has always been a problem there. We ordered a cheeseburger and because of COVID they don’t have menu so the Operator walks you through the menu. Well I accidentally had the Privacy button On so apparently they are not able to bother you and leave a sign at your door stating they came by. To my surprise they still charge you the food you ordered even though nobody tells you that’s a rule. A staff member said to me that room service waiters don’t care to make sure you get your food because they get an 18% tip and can eat your food since they didn’t deliver it. I complained and the Room Service Mgr said too bad we can’t reverse the charges because you didn’t answer the door. Even though they didn’t ring the doorbell because the privacy button was on.…
We spent Christmas week at the Hard Rock - not impressed. They needed to have many more holiday components. Sad really. Won’t be back. Santa was underwhelmed. Where is the Christmas cheer? More like the grinch. Ugh - Need a cookie?
This review is to inform you that I am beyond baffled at the experience that I experienced at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. We went with the intention to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and have a great time doing so, instead, it quickly turned into a series of intimidation, humiliation, and harassment. We checked in on Friday and stayed in the East Tower for the weekend. We rented a VIP Cabana, only to be able to use it for a couple of hours instead of our entire time, due to inclement weather. Once we finally were able to enjoy the cabana, the remote control did not work. We waited as we got a new remote. We waited for the two live DJs that your website advertises. To our surprise, this was not available, nor was the private pool. The private pool was broken with a filtration issue. Again, something that was advertised on your website but yet was not available. I understand that COVID may hinder amenities but if this is the case this should be clearly stated instead of falsely advertising such options. Sunday morning, I decided to try to get a picture of the sunrise, as although I had a pool view, I did not have a sunrise view. I asked the hotel's staff what would be the best place to get such a picture. They kindly advised me that the top level of the Orient Garage would be my best option. I made it to the garage only to encounter myself with two males, one of them proceeded to chase me as I made it back to the elevator, calling out "Ehh yo, Ehh yo!!" and then mumbled something about Victoria Secret. As a female, I was petrified for my life. I was intimidated and harassed by the lack of security in your parking lot. I made it back to the security point, where I told them what had just happened. To my surprise, this was already a known issue, they had been told that there were men trying to get into cars!. This blows my mind, how is it that the reaction time to such occurrence was not elevated? I then proceeded to the front desk, where they then had me explain the petrifying experience to the Head of Security. He took down my name, phone number, and room number. This individual was extremely concerned and made me feel safe at the time. I appreciate the care that he showed. Fast forward to checkout time, we spent over an hour trying to get my vehicle from valet parking. And was completely humiliated by the valet parking supervisor. The night before, we left the premises, and upon return, I gave the key to the valet attendant, without getting a ticket. I asked the gentlemen if I would need a ticket, he responded that wasn't necessary. Well, clearly it was necessary at checkout. No one communicated anything with us upon arrival at the valet area. I advised the Bellman that we had a vehicle valet parked and he just told us it would be taken care of. Not the case. We were waiting there for almost 30 minutes until my wife decided to go talk to someone inside the office. As I tried to get the attention of the valet supervisor, he dismissed me and gestured as if to wait. He continued to walk away. He did not come back for several minutes. Never in my life, have I felt so humiliated and belittled. This is the customer service that your third party company provides to its guests? This is unacceptable and demeaning. I am a woman of color and will not tolerate such actions taken against me. He had absolutely no customer service skills and was extremely rude and disrespectful. The conversation with him was to inform him that better training should be given to his employees as they clearly gave the wrong information. Instead, he decided to recite the policy. I understand what the policy is, that is not what I was trying to get out of the conversation, but he was not trying to listen to anything we had to say. It escalated to the point where we had to walk away. Which at that point, the same gentleman, the Head of Security, that I had dealt with that morning came to us. Kindly and respectfully he asked how he could help. Great attitude to diffuse the situation instead of escalating the situation by inadequate behavior. This supervisor's behavior was demeaning and unacceptable. I expect to be treated as a human being with respect. We spent thousands of dollars to make this special occasion epic, instead, it was one of disappointment and frustration.…
