We have stayed at this property at least a dozen times over the past years and continued to return because of the friendly staff, cleanliness, and suite accommodations. This past visit we received a $150- add on fee for a mark on a dresser. After speaking to the manager twice and being falsely accused of marking the dresser he stated he believes his housekeeping staff over a loyal 67 yr. old patron. We told Jonathan, the manager, we did not even use the dresser and was in and out of the room quickly due to the holiday and accommodating our 92 yr old mother next door.. Our overnight bag was in the front room and a few clothes in the closet. He refused to believe us and stated he has a picture of the marked dresser. After asking if there could be a mistake again he refused to even entertain the idea that perhaps his housekeeping overlooked the previous guest or made the mark themselves with cleaning equipment. This was our home in Tampa while visiting family, Along with a family members corporate events. I would not stay there unless you want an add fee and want to be accused of lying!!! We are very responsible and honest individuals and take great offense to this accusation. Beware and go elsewhere!!

Dear Guest, We do appreciate your loyalty and support over the years. Your recent experience with us is regrettable. However, accidents do happen and we feel that the charge to your account is justified. It is not an "add on" charge. It is a fee for damages. When you originally called to inquire about it, you were told that we had a picture that we would send you. You said you were not interested in seeing it. In retrospect, I wish you had looked at it. You would see that this is not a "mark," but a long deep gouge caused by something falling onto or dragged across the surface. It could not have been done by the cleaning crew, using a cloth and a spray bottle, as you allege. It also could not have been done by a previous guest as we have supervisors totally wiping down every surface in the room after each guest leaves as a further protection against COVID 19. Please don't take this personally. We know this was not an act of vandalism. We've enjoyed having you as our guest over the years. But we know that the scratch was not there when you entered the room and it was there when you left. We feel that our damage fee is justified. Sincerely, Robert D, Guest Relations Manager

Overnight business trip...couple comments . First, staff was very energetic and helpful. But....the rooms face into the beautiful atrium...but NO WINDOW in the suite to enjoy the view. The window by the bedroom overlooked the highway. Second, no overhead lighting in either room...only small lamps, made it difficult to read the temp which was set on 68....like to froze in the room! Also, the baths should be removed...too small...upgrade/update with shower stalls please. With so many options for lodging, this place needs updating.

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay at our hotel during your recent trip to Tampa. We apologize that you did not find our brand new freshly renovated rooms to your liking. They were done to Marriott specifications. There is one more floor lamp for each bedroom on back order. There are no windows to the hallway for security purposes and to lessen the noise of foot traffic. Even the panels around the doors were drywalled over several renovations ago. There is just no way to keep draperies drawn tight enough all the time for total privacy. Since these are blind reviews, I don't know which room you stayed in, but we are an urban location. We would have been happy to have found you another room, if we had known of your displeasure with the view or the temperature. Again, we really are sorry you didn't have a good experience with us this time, but we hope you will give us another chance to serve you, if you are ever back in the Tampa Bay area again. We stayed at this hotel while attending spring training. We chose this hotel as it has great access to the airport and Tampa area as well as being easy to get to St. Pete & Clearwater. Also there were 4 of us, and the room size was great to accommodate us all. The separate living room with pull out couch has great separation from the bedroom. It was definitely a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable for our short stay and little time spent in the room.

the staffing was so compasionet to our situation for we were there for a funeral however from Natalie at the front desk to Mr Collazo the driver everything seem to go smoothly. Again you should be proud of them for there are not a lot people who would have put up with all of our confusion! Looking forward to another visit!

Great hotel! but what truly made our stay perfect was the amazing customer service we received. From Olena at the front desk to the waitress (Katherina) and waiter (Mac). Both Mac and and Katherina made our mornings a delight. Olena’s big smile and cheerfulness as she greeted us every time she saw us was made us feel so welcomed. They are so humble, kind and pleasant and we were so lucky to have met them. The Four season’s couldn’t have better staff. Also, the rooms were super comfortable and very clean.
