Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Busch gardens before moving onto Orlando Disney with husband and two teen children. Really impressed with this hotel , had a nice chilled vibe , very clean , stayed in a cabana suite , very roomy , modern and everything you need including a mini Fridge. Gorgeous pool , warm , clean , plenty of sun beds and clean towels . Friendly staff and easy check in with helpful front desk staff . Bit more up market and more of a chill vibe than holiday vibe , but liked this. Would definitely recommend , for a relaxing short stay / stop over stay .
A bit of a weird location- if you turn right outside the hotel, you are on a highway bridge to St Petersburg- but the lobby was welcoming, and the room clean/new. I liked the electronic shades, and the sink being outside the bathroom didnt bother me- room was big enough that it didnt feel intrusive. Weather didnt allow use of the pool area but looked nice enough. Parking was costly but easy access in/out with room key. Definitely a solid spot if you are in Tampa for a bit and its a 5 min drive from airport.
I was upgraded to a pool suite room after checking in online myself and choosing a top floor quiet room as I was there on business. Anyways - they gave me this “upgraded” room which was literally a larger, suite sized motel room. smelled of weed, super loud from pool noise AND two roommates… three inch roaches. Went back down and asked for my original room which they no longer had so instead got a room on the 7th floor. Was way better, clean.
The Hotel Alba exceeded our expectations in every manner. The front desk staff was very personable especially Ronnie and Jennifer. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hidden gem is the large pool and deck which is well maintained and pristine. Miss Pauline was constantly cleaning all of the chair and table surfaces. Additionally there is a pool bar which is greatly appreciated. We will definitely plan to visit soon.
Sad to say but my sheets had a yellowish stain on it. I could tell they were washed but just worn sheets that should have been thrown away. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The rooms are very small.
It was our first time at this hotel we booked on a third party website. However, Alyssa Rodney went out of her way to make our moment extra special with our beautiful room to her professional and kind spirit. Thank you again Phil and Melea Wolfe
I just wanted to say thank you to the Hotel Alba Tampa, Tapestry Collection but especially Rebecca McDevitt (the event coordinator) for all your hard work last week. From your staff down to the little details that you included it was fantastic. I want to first recognize Rebecca’s tireless efforts to coordinate, and plan our meeting. Furthermore, our team was hugely impressed with the level of professionalism from the time they arrived to check out. We held a conference with 40 plus attendees. It was a huge success thanks to the amazingly attentive Rebecca and staff that over delivered on everything that they promised. They set up the event meeting space beautifully, and the service was outstanding. The hotel also has an outdoor pool that includes a poolside bar. The bartender Desiree was entertaining and great at bartending. Our attendees came from all over the country to be here and they loved their rooms and the convenience to restaurants and shopping. By the time the event wrapped up, many were asking when we would be having our next event, right here at the Hotel Alba. Lastly, we cannot wait until next year’s event.…
This is my second time at this hotel and will definitely be back! It’s a very nice hotel and the employees are very accommodating and sweet. Alyssa I love in particular! She remembered me from when I had visited Tampa back in may for just a day on business and stayed at the hotel. When I walked in I was greeted by the beautiful Alyssa she is so charismatic and just had such a great energy she was very bubbly and sweet! After she checked me in she proceeded to tell me about all the wonderful amenities the hotel offers and if I needed anything at all to just call and she would make sure it was taken care of. She definitely meant it! I had a sore throat due to weather change from Phoenix to Florida and wanted some hot tea. The room I was in only had the coffee cups. Alyssa personally brought me some breakfast tea cups for the coffee maker. She truly made my stay amazing. The restaurant was great as well, there is a bar by the pool (which is amazing!) The rooms are very modern and comfortable. All over a great hotel!…
Hotel was extremely clean and nice. Rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. Pool area was very nice. All the staff members we met were very friendly. In my opinion, food and beverage was average and over priced. $20 a person for a breakfast buffet that would be included at an Hampton Inn, and $3 for a average cup of coffee downstairs in the morning. Overall a great stay.
The rooms are smelly and colors are too damp. Also the furniture and bathrooms look way different in real life, and look cheap in real life compared to pictures You can also hear every plane and car drive-by or fly by. Also certain areas of the room were not cleaned.
