I was fishing in the Keys in May and chose to stay at Sugarloaf Lodge. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient and the price was half of what a room would cost in Key West. I'll be back.

This place is close enough to Key West but away from the crowd. A great place to relax. It has a retro feel. It has clean rooms and super friendly staff. A nice little hideaway. I will stay here again when I go back.

This lodge is definitely retro but in a cool way!!! Our room was clean and well stocked and housekeeping was great. We were on the second floor and when we walked in it was a flash back to disco days! Once we walked out on the balcony we knew we made a great choice. The front desk guys were wonderful,...

I loved this place ! We recently stayed for two nights. We arrived early and went right to our room. The room was oversized with a small but semi private terrace. Everything was clean and set up well. The property has a swimming pool, small, but still well kept and refreshing for the Florida heat. There is a tiki bar...

Little out dated, but great view and the beds are comfy. The guy at the front was pleasant, but no coffee in the room. Shower was good, air conditioner was a wall unit. Would stay again, little expensive but hey we were in the Keys.

We just spent five nights here on our motorcycle trip to the keys. I would have given 5 stars if coffee was available in the room. I get up at 5 am and waiting until 7:30 for coffee was difficult to do. The rooms are big and very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony areaand watching the sunsets over...

We stayed at the Sugarloaf Lodge for two nights over Easter. We could not find any cost effective hotels in Key West, and the Sugarloaf Lodge was ideal being about 10 kms short of Key West. The rooms were in need of updating, but were comfortable and with great views over Florida Keys so were ideal for our family of...

This is the place to experience the real relaxed "salt life" of the Florida Keys and a great value compared to Key West prices. Every room is on the water with a view and the views can't be beat, the sunsets here are better than Mallory Square, without the crush of tourists, sit at their Tiki Bar in comfort (complimentary...

I booked this hotel after an unsuccessful and exhaustive search for a place in Key West under $300/night. We paid WELL BELOW $300 and had about a 20 minute drive from Key West. I read the reviews in Trip Advisor and was still a little bit worried about the condition of the rooms. Well, we had absolutely nothing to worry...
