This hotel sucks: old, stinks, dirty. We fled and were happy to find a room in a Marriot nearby. Front desk man was helpful and apparently had seen more people running from him.

The pictures are very deceiving. The hotel is old and smells old. The carpet is dirty and needed to be torn out and burned. It's walking distance from the beach and shopping, which is a plus. If you are not picky, this place will do.

The hotel is located on the 72st which is even not on the map, that the hotel gave us later! So it took a while to find it,and the neighborhood is not the most aprecitable... The staff was friendly but they charged us for 50$,but at the end they gave it back(the problem is that they did not say a word about...

When we arrived we noticed that there was a pool, GREAT for the kids. However, the pool was closed by the health department. We overlooked that... BAD idea! Yes, there is also a piano bar with no service/employees and no alcohol. We had a block of 5 rooms and one of the outside rooms door did not lock. When we...

This hotel would be better served as a parking lot for the immigration office accross the street. The staff was rude, unprofessional and poorly trained. They only recognized you if you spoke spanish. The breakfast at Bernies was cold eggs, cereal and slightly toasted bread for 12 dollars. And as you could guess from the heading....I had a room which...

I am in the hotel business and this place IS Bad. The attitude of the staff at the Front Desk is awfull. I arrived and there were two trainees and one supervisor at the Reception Desk. I inquired for directions to drive to their parking lot. Their reply was not even cordial and as I would be annoying them for...

Hi, I stayed at this hotel out of necessity for an interview at Ross University - it was a 2 minute walk from the interview and had a 'special' student rate for $89. I only recommend this hotel if you're a student staying for one night max. The free shuttle from the airport is unreliable. When I called before making...

Some reviewers seem to be confusing BW South Miami with BW South Beach. THIS hotel, South Miami, is nowhere near a beach - nowhere near anything, in fact. Seems to have been put down into an industrial area surrounded by highways & overpasses. Very quiet (we were there on a Saturday)but not a peaceful quiet, more the menacing type. My...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the BEST WESTERN IN SOUTH MIAMI prior to leaving for our cruise. The hotel represented itself as being close to the Port of Miami and close to shopping and restaurants. This was not the case. Even though the hotel offered shuttle service to the port, they fail to tell you that they only go...
