Checking in was great, the staff will take you to your spot, help guide you in and ask if you need anything else. Our spot was located on Red Belly Road which is a short walk to the bar. Like someone else mentioned, it's a great spot to grab a beer but they close at 10pm. We stayed 6 days for New Year's. The bar had a party from 8pm-2 am and it didn't make enough noise to bother us as we were in bed by 1 am. The grounds were clean, some dog poo left from people who obviously don't see the many dog baggies. I used the laundry and while it was hot, no worries since I left and came back. You can pay using quarters or with your card. You can also download the app and it will tell you how long your machine has to go. Clean and reasonably priced. I checked the bathrooms out by the primitive area and bar area. Toilets were wobbly and the showers needed an overhaul. The one thing I noticed about this campground was that usually, when camping, you would expect to become friendly with your camp neighbors and that didn't happen. People kept to themselves. We did notice the junky trailers and RV's that had damage, items stored in the yard and grass growing but that really didn't detract from the rest of it. The store is ok but with all that space they are missing out on sales. The could be selling firewood, more food items, souvenirs, etc and when you walk in, it's like it's empty. There is a guy on a golf cart who sells firewood but beware, it's Pine and as all campers know, Pine burns smoky and sappy and quick. Oak or other wood should be sold and you should really bypass the golf cart guy and pick some up locally at Publix or somewhere else. Our pile burned thru and created black smoke the entire time. Pine is not a good fire pit wood. The springs smelled but you wouldn't notice it if you didn't know it was a sulpher spring. It's beautiful in the surrounding area and you should take a nature walk. I wouldn't stay again but only because I want somewhere where people actually interact with you. It was too boring for us.

We stayed here for a week because our friends are staying there for the season. The sites are on grass, the place is very muddy. There are tons of fire ant piles all over the campground and we were told in previous years that they sprayed for the ants but because of Covid they did not spray this year. I am not sure what Covid has to do with spraying the ground. The springs are nice and clear sandy bottom with plenty of chairs around the springs to relax. They’ve got a tiki bar at the end of the campground which is open on the weekends and they have activities down there. Overall, it’s an average run of the mill campground.

We spent a long weekend here with several groups of friends and family. There are so many pros to this RV resort. The front office staff was so friendly and accommodating to our group throughout the entire process and managed to get our large group within close proximity to one another. Ed showed us to our site and worked patiently with my husband until we were well situated on our site. Their is a sulfur smell associated with the water but it dissipates the further you are from the falling water and everyone got used to it quickly. The water is cool and refreshing. The atmosphere was friendly and there was a golfcart parade on Saturday night. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and run around and we had a really great time. The only thing I would change if I could would be to add concrete pads to the sites that dont have any. Also, there were so many red ant mounds around our site. Thankfully we travel with ant killer but we had to treat the site ourselves. Overall, this is a great place and we cant wait to come back! Remember to bring a minimum of 50 feet of 50 amp power cord to reach the electrical supply. Our cable tv wire wasnt long enough either but we were having too much fun outside to care about that!

So here is the good and the bad. The good is that the lagoon is really pretty cool. Although the water slides were shut down due to COVID the water fountain was not and the lagoon has a nice sandy clear bottom. A DJ was on site playing music, mostly country but it was nice. A small sandy beach was there which allowed kids to make sandcastles. Now for the not so good. If you are looking for spacious sites, forget it. Everyone is packed in tight. Although I paid more money for a premium site, it was unlevel and when backing in the ground was wet so our tires spun. The only comment we got from the ranger was " Oh you don't have 4 wheel drive". Kind of surprised that I would need 4 wheel drive for a premium site. It rained quite a bit on our second day and we have quite a bit of flooding at our site. Lots of people ride around in golf carts including kids. Many rules are listed in the welcome packet, but none are enforced, including social distancing. TONS of people everywhere. Bathrooms are decent, however not air conditioned and windows are closed off so no ventilation or air circulation. Several people appear to live in this park full time. Parts of the park look run down and kind of like a nasty trailer park (south side especially). Boat launch area is rather lackluster. Canoes are old and the launch area has not been kept up. Overall an okay camping trip. Will not be rushing back her again.

Good stuff first. Staff are wonderful. Checkin real easy and an escort to your site to assist with parking your rv. The sites on the north are very deep with lots of room between rvs. The spring has lovely clear water, lots of fish and fun to kayak down. You can rent them here. You can have packages delivered here. They are left in the store for you to pick up. Not much in the store right now. Maybe summer is different.
It seems like most of the rvers are full time. And of course, the ones who work leave very early in the morning, in very noisy vehicles. Lots of kids all week who seem to be home schooled. Too many noisy motorcycles for me. In fact this park is very noisy. But the worst thing here is the laundry room. It is filthy. Today, 5 of the 16 washers were out of order. Some of these have been down for weeks. The change machine doesn't work either but you can get change in the store. The laundry facilities are barely adequate for a park this size never mind all the machines that are down. The equipment is very old with rust and dirt all over them. If this were my park I would be ashamed of state the facilities are in. The bar area and boat marina are also run down. Too many sites are junked up and speeding is common even with the park workers. No enforcement here at all. I would not recommend snowbirds stop here at all. It's very disappointing when compared to other parks around.

We made reservations for a week in February 2020 at Wekiva Falls RV Resort. We Picked out our Premium site in advance hoping to see if this would be a good area for us to stay in 2021 for 3-6 months. We did this with the help of a staff member.
When we arrived we were told that they booked our site a month before to someone else with a larger “travel trailer” and gave us a tent site that was very unlevel without a cement slab and a huge burn mark in the middle of the picnic table. They did replace the table but only after we took pictures & went back to the office to complain. We have a 32’ Leprechaun Motorhome towing a Chevy Equinox. No one ever notified us that our site changed til we arrived. They could have told us the day before we arrived when they called us for our ETA. We thought the call was odd since we had stayed here twice before & no one ever called asking for our ETA. When we asked to speak to a manager we were given her email. Well the WiFi at Wekiva Falls is Horrible so we couldn’t email her. Pretty lousy way to do business and this Ended our time with Wekiva Falls. We will never be back. The people staying around us were Awesome. We’d love to have them as neighbors but not at Wekiva Falls.

The sites are large with full service , electric water sewer cable. The office was very accommodating and got us in last minute.
Pet and family friendly.
Easy access to Publix and stores but when in the park you feel
Like you are miles away from any city.
The Mastadon in the middle of the spring is awesome and swimming is fun and refreshing.
Can also kayak and fish.

We went to Wekiva Falls RV resort in early May and we had a blast! We stayed right across from the swimming area and the kids loved it. Because this trip was during the Covid crap the park wasn’t packed out like it normally is. The creek that leads from the swimming area out to the river is absolutely chock full of bass, sun fish, and gar. We paddle the main creek for hours and saw tons of wildlife.

We have spent January through April at Wekiva Falls. Beautiful park close to all needed businesses yet far enough away for quiet nights. The park is continually upgrading amenities and always try to address issues. We will certainly be back next season.

Mixed review for me... We were shown great hospitality at check in. After signing in, we received an escort to our back-in space and was assisted backing into the space.

The park had lots of activities for all ages although we really didn’t stick around each day of our visit since we had off-site plans. The water park looked like great fun for kids.

We did not visit the store, laundry or tiki bar so I can t comment on them.

Sites were grass with a concrete patio. Our site was fairly level but a little muddy.

Our utility pole was shared by 4 campers so it was a little cluttered in this area. It was also further away than other parks we have visited. The distance caused me to have to use more than one water hose as my 25’ hose was too short on its own. Thank goodness I had an extra hose.

Golf carts are permitted you have to charge them at your own site I believe you can park a trailer up front but not sure most people have all their vehicles on their own sites You can drive to the swimming area you just park where you can at the top near the road

We decided to stay at another nearby campground. These requirements were just over the top for a short term stay. We aren’t interested in living there or anywhere in our camper fulltime.
