We had a most wonderful experience with excellent food, very good wines and a superb service. Thanks!! and keep up the good work. Moreover, the village is so beautiful so do plan enough time for a walk.

We had a very pleasant dinner. Sophisticated cuisine, wide choice of wines, very friendly service. Very good price/quality ratio. We come every year to the region (from Switzerland) and it was very nice to discover this fine quality and friendly restaurant.

We stayed here for one night on our return journey home. The hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant as there was nowhere else to eat, the food was really delicious but very pricey (the cheapest bottle of Rose wine was 45 euro's so we had a glass of wine instead).... More

Although Marcoles is a very small, medieval village in the South of France, L'Auberge de la Tour gives it the perfect spark of modernism. The service is very professional but as you speak with your waiter, you feel as if you've become the best of friends by the end of the meal. The food is divine and there are many... More

Between the character of the Auvergne volcanoes and the gentle pleasures of the Lot Valley, the Cantal La Châtaigneraie region displays its restful personality and its stunning landscapes. In this privileged environment, Auberge de la Tour, located in the heart of the medieval town of Marcolès, is a charming stopover place. Lorraine and Renaud Darmanin, the young proprietors, infused this handsome 17th-century inn with colour and contemporary spirit.
