Absolutely our new favorite place to stay. Will definitely be back! Our condo (A304) was clean, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The view….breathtaking! The facility was close to the beach which was especially nice since my elderly parents struggle with mobility. The water was almost crystal clear. Overall, everything was perfect!!

We have stayed at Fisherman’s Cove twice and both times were absolutely wonderful experiences. Unit A105 was our favorite. We could step right out onto the beach from our sunroom. The beach isn’t crowded and you don’t have to pack beach chairs or umbrellas because each room comes with them. We enjoyed watching turtles, lizards, bunnies, and manatees. Seashells are everywhere and are just beautiful. Our daughter got burnt and the maintenance man noticed and brought her aloe vera gel. Such sweet caring staff! This will be a once a year place to visit for sure.

We come here every year for vacation. The view and beach access can’t be beat. Just open your window and hear the gulf any time. Every year we meet many friendly families that also are repeat visitors. I think this speaks volumes. The pool is always a nice reprieve as well.

we had our annual Florida Girls trip here at Fisherman's Cove this year, and we all were very pleased with our accommodations. Walking into the unit, you can see the ocean views, like the ocean is right there!!! there were 4 of us, with plenty of room, unit had everything we needed, stocked kitchen supplies (not food), yeti glasses, beach chairs, towels, coolers, noodles to float with, even rods if we wanted to fish!! W/D in the unit was beyond useful, plenty of supplies in the unit. Having an Elevator was a welcome extra!! they also had shopping carts on the 1st floor, to use to haul your stuff up in the elevator to your unit. Attention to detail was amazing! so leaving the unit, out of the elevator, thru the breezeway, to the beach, so close, it was again, awesome!! Also, we didn't rent a car, no issue, there is a trolley, there is SCAT transit, there are ubers, there are small open air vehicles that work for tips, that you can call, and they'll pick you up and take you to town or Siesta Village, we didn't even miss not having a car. It all worked well for us, so much so, that we booked for next year the day before we left!!!

Worst experience we've ever had with a rental! My family and I booked unit A103 in Fisherman's Cove for spring break. We paid almost $3,700 for the week. We were excited to enjoy a beachside condo and the pictures of the condo looked like a clean, nice place. When we got there we were shocked by the condition of the condo. Where to begin with the problems: First of all, check in is at 4pm on Saturday. Conveniently, the front desk also closes at 4pm on Saturday and they're closed all day Sunday too. Walking up to the condo I immediately had a bad feeling because the front door is in such bad shape. The wood is peeling off the frame and the bottom of the door has severe water damage. Entering the condo we immediately noticed that almost every single wall is damaged & dirty. Walked into the first bedroom and noticed the curtains were removed but the dingy metal rod and brackets remained. Walked into the next bedroom and there's a stain covered chair that looks like it's been soaked by multiple liquids, a dresser with stains all over the top, the tv stand that's supposed to be white is now yellow from the paint peeling off and whatever grossness has been growing on it, the bedframe has wood chipped off it all along the sides, someone threw their phone at the wall and left a perfect, phone sized dent in the wall right by the door, and the curtains were also removed but the metal brackets and curtain mechanicals all left up. At this point we thought, ok we're not getting our money's worth from an appearance/cosmetic/cleanliness standpoint, but it's still manageable. Then we walked into the lanai and noticed the door and windows had severe mold and dirt build up all around them. It was disgusting. With 3 little kids we worried about spending any time in that room, the room with views of the ocean, the main thing we're paying for. Seeing that mold made us start taking a closer look at the rest of the condo. That's when we noticed additional mold in the AC vent and on the kitchen baseboard. The AC vents were CAKED with dust. The rest of the rooms had layers of dust on everything. It was clear the condo wasn't cleaned well. At this point reality had set in that this was an absentee owner and the level of deferred maintenance was unacceptable. The mold alone makes it a health hazard for anyone to stay in the condo. It really shouldn't be rented out until its addressed. We tried calling the front desk to complain, no answer. The voicemail had an emergency line we could call, which we did. We talked to a guy named Dan who then came to the unit with Kelli (the property manager that hadn't left yet), and a maintenance man. I walked them through the entire condo and showed them all of the issues. One by one they minimalized the issues, including the mold. They were literally laughing and made the comment "What do you expect? This isn't the Ritz?". I responded that they were charging like it was the Ritz and that for the almost $600 a night we were being charged I could stay in a nice hotel and not what this condo had become with the insane levels of deferred maintenance and mold. Dan, the emergency contact then agreed with us that the condo was in rough shape and had items that needed to be addressed. Kelli however was defensive from the start and stayed that way. With the mold making it dangerous to stay there, we decided not to stay in the condo. I wasn't going to sacrifice my family's health. Obviously this put my family in a difficult position of having to find a place last minute, during the height of spring break, after already having spent money on this condo. We ended up finding a hotel 2 towns over at almost 9pm, wasting an entire day of our vacation with this ordeal. That's not including the next few days having to go back and forth with the management company and the owner on trying to pursue a refund. Unsurprisingly, the management company has been standoffish and unhelpful in trying to get a refund, instead there's more defensiveness and straight up lies about offering to deep clean the condo. No compromise was offered, only excuses. The owner, Steve, seemed to be used to the complaints. Nothing seemed like news to him and he didn't really seem to care about any of the issues I brought up; even sending him and management photographic evidence. Instead he tried to threaten & intimidate me by saying he'd sue me when I said I'd be disputing the credit card charge. Moral of the story is my loss is your gain. Learn from my mistakes and avoid this unit, this absentee owner, and this incompetent management company at all costs.

The beach is almost all gone and they just raised the rates 30+%. Can stay at the Hyatt Regency with daily cleaning and shuttles to the beach and downtown and a far better pool for less than it costs here now!

We have been coming to Turtle Beach for several years and decided to rent directly through Fisherman's Cove instead of VRBO. Pros: Condo B301 had an amazing view of the gulf. We had never stayed on the 3rd floor and really enjoyed it. Maintenance staff have been the same few guys the past several years. Sadly I don't know their names, but they are always smiling and friendly. Cons: Website stated cleanliness however when we arrived there was so much dust on the furniture that I wrote my name on the dining room table and my husband and I played tic-tac-toe on the coffee table. Also, the back of the master bathroom's door was covered in what we hope was spray sunblock or lotion. The doors are black so it really stands out when you close them. When I mentioned this to management, their response was that they had been too busy for the deep cleanings that they do a few times a year. With COVID, I would think every checkout would require a deep cleaning. Ants, Ants, Ants. We felt like we were in that Geico commercial. We used 2 1/2 cans of ant spray around window sills and door frames and they still kept showing up on the countertops and food. We wound up putting everything in the oven and microwave. Back to the cleanliness, part of the checkout is to take out the trash and run the dishwasher. I don't think anyone ever checks the dishwasher. It was nasty. We had to buy a dishwasher cleanser packet to run through it first and we found broken glass, seashells, and bottle caps in the bottom of it. There is also no storage in either bedroom for this unit. There is lots of nice decorative pieces, but no where to actually put your clothes. We wound up living out of our suitcases for 2 weeks. Lastly, just the overall customer service. There is no leeway with the check-in or check-out times with them. With VRBO, the owners will allow some flexibility. Our flight home did not leave until 130 pm. Our unit was not booked for anyone the following week after us, but they still would not budge on the 9am checkout. We will be back to this part of FL and most likely use VRBO for our next stay.

This place is horrid. Staff was rude. Their website says guests health and safety is the most important thing but expected us to stay during redtide when it was making both my kids sick (both have asthma) after 2 days we had no choice but to leave bc it made them sick. There were also ants crowling all over our room and the ac does not work. Filed a complaint but was told I was lying! I didn't even ask for a full refund just apartial and was denied and said that they could care less about it. DO NOT COME HERE!

Reserved late so stayed in two different units, a week each. Couldn't be happier as they accommodated us with checkout times and moving us on Saturday morning...that's just to show the wonderful and helpful staff. Now, the best part...sunsets from your units; the beach only a few minutes walk away; occasional dolphins; beach is used but always room without crowding; public park beach couple hundred yards away but parking area for units is private and gated; great restaurant just outside the park and across the street; and you can always drive the extra minutes to the main shopping and dining areas if you want. The ground floor unit was so convenient to walk out and sit on provided chaises for units (this area is for you and not public, separated from beach by a small dune area). Second floor unit did have a better view of gulf since it is not ground level. All units have beach chairs and an umbrella. Very happy with this choice after staying for years in the busier areas of Siesta Key...quieter when you want it and still close enough to the action.

We stayed in B303. Although it could use some updating it was clean and well appointed. Loved the uncrowded beach and the close by restaurants. Having lost my car key fob early in the trip the Staff could not have been more helpful. They were truly concerned about my predicament and were joyful upon the return of my key. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all.
