This was our 8th year staying at The Palm Bay and we do a month. This year we did a 1 bedroom, 1.5 baths in the Club Quarters, 3rd floor…condo #177. We loved this condo, the owners have incorporated the balcony into the living which helps make if feel larger. There are patio doors that you can open to get a breeze in. Beds were comfortable, bathroom updated with nice shower ( need to put the higher ADA toilets in). Half bath is nice and has medicine cabinet and storage. No W&D but the laundry was never busy..each bldg has their own. Kitchen was well supplied and had a nice pantry. Pictures on Palm Bay’s site are accurate. Palm Bay grounds are nice, both Gulf and bayside. This year they added more security including a passcode gate to get in and out. The gulf side pool is large and heated with plenty of loungers. Bayside is smaller but has a hot tub and beautiful view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beach is deep and not crowded since it’s private. Loungers are provided and you can rent umbrella and cabanas. Would definitely recommend, they fill up fast and you can book fires from website.

We didn't know what to expect but this condo was perfect for me, my husband and 2 kids. 2 queen beds made it comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was new and modern. Eating area was perfect. And the sitting area worked out great. The view was nothing to speak of but we didn't spend that much time actually in the condo. Literally steps to the beach and tennis and pool. Plenty of towels were provided and security was there when we arrived late and couldn't find our unit. I didn't love the fact that you basically got one beach towel per person and when it got soaking wet you had to pay on your laundry card to get it dry rather than trade it in. It would have been a nice added amenity to be able to get a new, dry towel that day, especially after it rained on the beach.
The club is not that close to the village, however, so if you want to be close to the beach, it's a great location, private beach with beach chairs (that get taken quickly). But you're a 30 minute walk to the village (or you can hop on the trolley). Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

My husband & I have stayed at the Palm Bay Club the last four years. This February we stayed in a two bedroom unit in the tower. We were not as pleased this year.
We thought the customer service at the office was not very good. Upon check-in I asked if I could have a second parking pass for my family; they were coming in the second week. I was told no because they were at full capacity. However, over the two weeks we were there, there were always empty parking spaces & we rarely saw anyone on the tenth floor.
I asked for additional beach towels for my family at the office. Instead of just asking me how many I needed, they said there should have been some in the closet. There were only two. My point is they didn’t need to interrogate me.
In addition, the elevators were broken down several times again this year. Twice we had to walk up ten flights of stairs. Also, there was a light hanging down over the kitchen island. The unit was lacking in coffee cups & there was only one small frying pan & no pizza pan. Was our stay terrible? No, it was ok, but for the price I paid, there should have been no issues.
I talked to several couples on the beach who were surprised how much more I was paying. I have a different place booked for next year & will be paying $1800 less, & this place looks newer & recently remodeled. Also, if you book through VRBO, you can get your money back. At the Palm Bay Club, they won’t refund your money & suggest you take pricey travel insurance.
I see no reason to return to the Palm Bay Club.

To celebrate my 20th Anniversary my wife and I planned a 5 night stay at Palm Bay Club. We stayed in the Grand Tower Unit #112. The view was breathtaking!! To wake up every morning to white sand, blue water and clear skies for 5 days was such a blessing. However, we did notice a few things in the unit that are very small, but for the price these are things that should be addressed. One issue was the screened balcony had multiple holes in the screen which allowed mosquitoes to fly in freely and bite my wife and I. One of the bed frames is damaged with the wood broken and a large nail visible and exposed where a person could easily scratch themselves. The dining room table had 2 of the legs leaning inward as if they have been broken/damaged by someone trying to move the table. These are just minor details that take away from the room itself and you just don't expect to see items like this for a 5 no ight stay at $1500. We will definitely return, but will look into a different unit.

The Palm Bay Club is nice and I recommend the overall property. With that said there is room for improvement. The building hallway is dated and musty smelling and the carpet is well worn and needs replaced. While I recommend the Palm Bay Club, I do not recommend Unit 107 in the Tower Building. The unit was clean and being on the 10th floor it has great views. However, The unit is dated (decor, furniture and appliances need updated). The cooktop did not seem to get very hot. It took a long time to boil a small amount of water. The refrigerator leaks water from the ice maker in the door (note this was reported back in November 2020 and was not fixed for our stay at the end of February 2021). The cookware is very cheap and the skillets are warped. The recessed lights in the kitchen were partially disassembled. The land line telephone in the kitchen needs to have the battery replaced. The coating on the toilet seat in the main bath is coming off and should have been replaced long ago
At $400+ per night, the unit should be updated and properly maintained.

Dear OHTraveler95h, Thank you for taking the time to let us and others know about your experience. I am disappointed and very sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations. You will be pleased to know that we are planning to redecorate all of the lobby areas in the tower. We hope that these changes are completed when you next return and that you are pleased with them. I will make sure that the owners of that unit are aware of your review. As you know, we have plenty of options available to you. All the unit lists have photos so that you can find one more to your taste. We look forward to your return. Sincerely, Bert - General Manager

My wife and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, but never one like this. First, you'll find the Kompose on travel sites in the $325-$400 range....not cheap. The rooms are cement shells. Not the perfect, smooth cement you sometimes see on a garage floor, but construction style cement with dark streaks, holes and patches. The bathroom is literally a glass enclosure within the room. Open the shower door or the toilet door, but you can't close one without opening the other. A small sink with very limited counter space is next to the bed. The shower/toilet glass enclosure is opaque, so only forms show through. Drying off and dressing must be done out of the shower, in the room.
Here's what the room does NOT include:
Tissue/Kleenex
Microwave
Coffee
Clock
Drinking water (at front desk for over $5 per bottle)
Furniture with drawers (only shelves)
Iron & board
Desk
Room cleaning is NOT included unless you pay extra. Buffet breakfast is $4.00 per person. OH YA! THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE

Very disappointed with this place. The beds are hard as a rock and uncomfortable. They say they have a 46 inch tv in the living room, but it seems broken as the picture fills about half of the screen and is distorted. All appliances ans tv are the cheapest you can buy so they don’t work well. The pool is totally disgusting. It Feels slimy and the walls and floor of the pool have a brownish tint to them. Seems like it has not been cleaned in a long time. The laundry facility is not up to par either, I would rather wash my stuff in the sink and hang to dry. The toaster works, but you have to hold the lever down the whole time or it pops back up. The air conditioner makes a very loud humming noise the whole time it is on.
It does not help that there is red tide right now and we can’t be at the beach so as a result we are spending lots time in the condo. Honestly, I can’t wait to be home again.
This was very disappointing, the pictures looked very nice but they are deceiving. Stay next door at the racquet club. I guess this is the reason this place was open when we booked 3 weeks ago.

Love the building, love the location, and very well maintained building, but the unit itself is in dyer need of renovation and just basic things like paint, paint peeling off the walls, walls scraped and scratched by furniture….furniture needs to be repainted or refinished…wall paper from my great grandma’s house….the couches are very old, some stains and very poor condition. Refrigerator has no ice maker. Kitchen cabinet doors broken and old…Bathroom is OLD…everything is original with the exception of a brand new glass sliding door. Everything else ugly and old. I have stayed in this building in other units and have been completely satisfied, but this unit should not be up for rent….it only gives the resort a bad name and taste…. When I rent a vacation get away, I expect it to be kept at reasonable state. The state this apartment is in!!!!! It should no be rented to anyone and at $300 plus is ridiculous!!!! No shampoo, no conditioner provided.
I have to say the only reason I give then 3 stars is that it was very clean. No complaints for the management of the building and cleaning personnel. The resort provides free beach chairs every morning and are available for anything like chairs and loungers.
They also provide umbrellas and cabanas at an additional cost.
The beach attendants are very friendly and quick to help.
The location of the building is perfect and they have tennis courts and a pool.
Close to everything and building is kept gated and secure.
This condo should be taken off the building rental program immediately. I paired $1455 for 4 nights (4th of July weekend) I was ripped off.

We just returned home from a 4 day stay. We have stayed at The Palm Bay Club before and definitely will return. The condo we rented was perfect for our needs. It was a one bedroom. The unit was very clean and updated nicely. The only negative comments that we could make is that the queen beds in the master were really bad. When you got into the bed you literally fell into a hole. They were extremely uncomfortable and should definitely be replaced. However, if sleep is not that important to you on a vacation this is definitely the place to stay. The tv in the bedroom was hooked up to a different service then the one in the living room, I believe it was Frontier in the living room and Verizon in the bedroom. Lastly,, the ice maker was really slow to make ice. Other than that the place was perfect.

Beautiful white sandy beach and great down town area.
We've been coming here for years, but honestly this is our last time staying at Palm Bay Club property. We stayed in the Tower #95 (first time). You pay a premium for the tower so I have higher expectations for the tower and was really disappointed.. We usually stay in the club but have stayed in the tower about 5 times previously
Pros: large comfy unit, close to beautiful white sandy beach.
Cons: NO water pressure in master bathroom, could NOT wash my long hair. Porch is deceiving-windows don't open so you can't dry towels/anything. Elevator broken since April,so would've been better to stay in the club units and walk rather then wait for elevator, ONE elevator for 10 floors is UNACCEPTABLE. no tupperware in unit, no cutting board or bakeware. TVs are on some weird system that we couldn't figure out. Lots of road way construction in complex. Reserved the grill and it was TRIPLE booked!! A total nightmare for our reunion of 26 people!! Outside services are now setting up chairs/umbrellas on the water line so if you're not out at 7am, good luck. Been coming here since 2005, this is our last time. Plenty of other options for $1K less that we'll be using.
Service has gone down hill, room didn't feel thouroughly clean, like around faucets, corners, floors etc and since we pay extra for cleaning, it should be CLEAN.
I feel the resort needs to step up, prices are higher and we're getting less, they've become complacent.

We never had an issue with wi-fi the four times we stayed at the Palm Bay Club. Enjoy if you go!
We were in unit 173 so I can't answer anything specific about unit 126 - all units are individually owned. As far as the resort goes, it was a convenient location - there is a free shuttle to and from Siesta Key Village (just flag it down). It is on the beach and there are lots of beach chairs/lounge chairs available. There are two pools (heated) and a hot tub/fishing pier on the intercoastal side. There is laundry in each building ($2 per wash, $1 per dry). Plenty of parking if traveling by car. The Crescent Beach Market is convenient but pricey. There are couple of Publix (I think they deliver and you can place an order on-line for pick up) and a Winn Dixie within a couple of miles. There are towels and toilet paper in the units - extra toilet paper at the office. You get a small packet of coffee, sugar, creamer, a small dishwashing liquid and a small dishwasher detergent - we were there 5 nights so that was enough to clean our small amount of dishes. There are tennis racquets available in the office. I am assuming you went on their website and saw the pics of your unit? Good luck - if you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer - I tried to touch base on the basics.
Walk, bike or car are good. You must be able to walk a mile or more so if a stroller is not an option, car would be it
