We had a wonderful stay at Captiva beach resort. Our space was very clean, smelled clean and all that we needed for our three night stay was provided. We especially liked the pebbled floor of the shower. It was a quaint, well-cared for lodging, and we had a wonderful time walking to crescent beach about 3 min walk away. It was hot for the time of year we went but it was the best.

We celebrated our one year anniversary in Siesta Key and Captiva Beach Resort was ideal place for us to stay. All the rooms have been renovated, were stylish, and the common areas within Captiva had bocce, ping pong, seating, and grill areas; the pool was in the center of the loop road and other resorts/villas had access as well. Beach is an easy quick walk and there is chair and umbrella service to rent, also available were Paddle Boards and Kayaks, billed directly to your room. Restaurants and shops are minutes away by foot and The Villages and Turtle Beach a short drive. Captiva has great staff and offered incredible value. Enjoy!

Posting on behalf of my parents who stayed here one night before our condo was open for the week. Captiva was super clean. My parents described it as a millennial resort due to the bean bags that are out in the courtyard with the AstroTurf yard. They also said that there was shuffle board and thought they say cornhole boards as well. The room was more like an efficiency apartment, small but very clean. They also said that the shower was one of the best showers that they have ever used. Which is saying something since all of the bathrooms in their house are all walk in showers, since we are all very tall (6 ft + with the tallest person being 6’8). The best thing that they said about Captiva was about the mattresses. Best mattress they have ever slept on, so much so that they stripped all of the sheets to figure out what type of mattress it is so they could purchase one for at home (they couldn’t find a brand or anything, just a palm tree emblem from a store in Florida). This resort doesn’t provide chair or umbrellas like some of the other resorts, but they were okay with that. The beach access is near the point of rocks if you are walking along the beach. Everyone that they interacted with that was employed by captiva was really friendly and proficient at their jobs. They also received two coupon/drink vouchers for the crescent bay club. They would recommend staying here again and that it was a good option for a short term stay since everywhere else pricing for just a night is really ridiculous. They thought it would be ideal if you had small kids or wanted to spend most of your time at the beach since the rooms were small.
