Make sure you are able to walk a good distance because the elevators usually don't work. Leave nothing in the room upon check out. You will NEVER see it again. The guest services will not turn in found itens, such as phone cords, chargers or electronic devices.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry we were unable to locate your lost items. I also apologize that one of the two elevators was out of commission for a short period of time. While I once again apologize for the elevator being unavailable, I am happy to share that it was fixed within 24 hours of the issue being reported and is working correctly now.

Wonderful condo rental …this was our second visit. Continental breakfast and use of beach chairs and umbrellas included … plus a lovely pool and outdoor bar/food service. The Hyatt is walking distance to our favorite restaurant Clayton’s Siesta Key Grille. These condos are beautifully decorated …with high end appliances and comfy beds!

We enjoyed our stay overall. We were there for about 6 days. The rooms/suites are beautiful with a great kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Our bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping came daily. Our balcony was right next to the construction for the building next door. It was nice on the weekend when they weren't working but loud during the week all day, so it wasn't easy to relax on our balcony at those times. The pool was also closed two of our days and the fire pit was not working the first few days we were there. They did not have smart TV's.They did have blue ray players. Their movie rental list was mostly children's movies. Breakfast selections are minimal. There is a cute terrace area with comfy chairs, a pool table, ping pong table and a TV. There is a Publix close by to get food and supplies as well as other stores nearby, and it is not far from the Village with many shops and restaurants. The beach was beautiful with comfortable chairs and umbrellas and were easy to reserve. The white Siesta Key sand is cool and soft on your feet and the water was great to wade and swim in. Awesome sunsets.

Do not be fooled, this hotel allows 8 people in a 3 or 4 bedroom that doesn’t mean it’s a family. Our stay was ruined by a group of 20 year olds that cussed and smoked drugs on the beach. When we complained we were told “if they can pay, they can stay” we’ve been coming here for years, it was our favorite now that it’s not family friendly we’ll look for a new place.

Thank you for sharing your review from your visit. We apologize your stay fell short of expectations but appreciate you sharing feedback. Our staff monitors and manages the private beach at our resort, and addresses concerns that are brought to their attention. The response you shared in your review is unacceptable and certainly not how we train our team to assist our guests and owners. We hope you change your mind and choose to return and stay with us again.

This was our second time staying at this property. If you’re debating on staying at this property just book it. It’s as close to perfect as you will find on Siesta Key. The property is great but the rooms are what it’s about. It’s like staying in a luxury beach condo. High end appliances, furniture, and the bedroom/bathrooms are absolutely perfect. All the rooms are immaculate. The kitchens have everything you would need to live there, let alone stay a few nights, so pack lightly. The beach is one of the best in the nation and Hyatt provides towels, umbrellas, loungers, kayaks, paddle boarding and life vests. They have a pool that has tons of loungers and umbrellas. They have activities around the resort like cornhole, billiards, table tennis and table shuffleboard. Now for the things you need to know before you come. When you arrive it seems like valet only but you can self park if you like, just get a parking pass when you check-in. Expect your room to be ready right at 4pm, although you can use the property amenities until your room is ready and they have lockers and bathrooms you can use while you wait. The rooms are huge and I imagine they take a long time to clean, hence the wait. There aren’t any restaurants on property but you can bring groceries and make all the food you want in your gourmet kitchen in your room. You need to bring condiments, spices, etc. Alternatively, there are dozens of restaurants around, plenty in walking distance. The free continental breakfast is limited to boiled eggs, yogurts, muffins, bagels, and cereal. The pool is nice but hot in the summer, it’s not refreshing at all, easily 95 degrees. They have a pool bar but due to some weird rule they can only have one employee working it so don’t depend on it for your beverages. They do provide a medium sized wheeled cooler in your room that you can fill with ice if you go to the valet station. If you go in the summer it’s going to be hot, very hot so pack accordingly. There’s a trolley that will take you to downtown Siesta Key for shopping and dining. The water in the rooms isn’t incredibly warm, it’s comfortable but not like the hot water you’re probably used to. The TV’s have satellite cable but a lot of channels are not purchased so a little limited. The rooms have washers and dryers so you can pack light and do a load or two while you’re there. They provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets. In summary, just book it, you won’t regret it!

We stayed here for 4 days with a large family group. We had kids from infants up to adults in their 70's. The rooms are beautiful. We had 2 different 3 bedroom gulf views and another 2 bedroom as well. The layout of the rooms are different and you are unable to request a specific layout, unfortunately. Example, one of the 3 bedrooms had 3.5 bathrooms, and the other had 3 bathrooms. The one with 3.5 bathrooms also had a much larger balcony and living area too. The staff at check in is extremely unaccommodating when it comes to any specific requests. For instance, when I booked, I made note of our family who was also staying and requested we get rooms in the same area. It was not guaranteed (obviously) but we were told they would do whatever they could to accommodate us. I also requested an early check in (check in isnt until 4pm) and I called a few days before the start of our vacation to remind them of these two requests. We arrived at the hotel at 1230 and were told no rooms were ready and they most likely wouldn't have anything available until 4pm, but they would call me if a room became available sooner. At 353pm, I went back to the front desk and was told our room was still not ready, but it would be ready in 7 minutes. I've never been anywhere where they made you wait until the exact minute to check in. So I sat in the lobby until 359 when she told me my room was ready. Unfortunately, they were unable to get our family rooms close to each other. One room was on floor 6 and another on floor 3. It was a bit frustrating that I requested rooms together at booking, a few days before check in, and the day of check in (3.5 hours before check in time) and they were still unable to even get us on the same floor. However, it is what it is. Although I wouldn't say the lady at check in was rude, she was probably the least helpful and least friendly person I have ever met as an employee while on vacation. Fortunately, I cannot say the same about the rest of the staff. The valet guys, bartender, and beach staff were all very friendly. They only have one bar, which is near the pool that is only open 12-5, and only serves food from 12-3. Because of some Siesta Key rules/laws, they supposedly can only have the one employee working the bar. This was a bit of an inconvenience because anytime somebody wanted to order food, the bartender had to leave the bar to go cook the food. This resulted in the bartender leaving the bar multiple times per day for 30 minutes at a time to go make the food. There is no other place on property to get food or drinks. This place is definitely set up for you to be on your own when it comes to food and drinks, which is totally fine. They also (obviously) let you bring your own drinks to the beach and pool (no glass) and provide you with a cooler in your room too. The "breakfast" isn't anything to brag about. Bagels, hard boiled eggs, some fruits and cereals and that's about it. It's not a very large hotel, probably around 50 rooms or so. The pool is very small but it was never overcrowded and we didn't have any issues getting chairs at the pool. They also have small "cabanas" with couches and hammocks that are first come first serve. The beach did get pretty busy, but again, we did not have any issues getting chaise lounges at any point during our stay. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance which is also nice. It is valet only at the hotel but their staff is quick to get your car any time you need it. There is also a hot tub and a nice outdoor firepit too. The firepit was not on while we were there. I asked the next day and was told there is a timer you just turn on to start the fire. I tried later that evening but could not figure out how it worked. Our family has all spoke and we all agreed we would definitely come back to this property. Now that we have a better understanding of what type of place it is, we can come better prepared next time. All in all, its a beautiful place with a great beach and very nice/large rooms. Just don't expect top notch service as you're pretty much expected to take care of yourself, and the check in staff doesn't seem to care about accommodating any special requests unfortunately. Also note it is pretty expensive. After taxes and fees, our room came out to over $1300 per night.

Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware, our teams work hard to accommodate requests; however, requests are not guaranteed. Since we are a vacation ownership resort, we have to ensure our owners are accommodated based on their specific ownership. This sometimes causes confusion for rental guests, as we are not a traditional hotel. We are pleased you and your family ended up enjoying your visit and look forward to welcoming you all back for another vacation.

The room was nice. Got a 2 bedroom. The thing that sucks is that there is a 10am checkout. To spend over $1000 a night is a bummer to have to leave so early. Breakfast in the morning was underwhelming. I think if they change these two things then it would be a lot better. The beach are was nice. It was our anniversary and we requested an early check in week prior. The lady would not give it to us so we waited about 2 hours until our room was ready. No acknowledgement or anything from the front desk. Oh well. It is what it is. Sad to spend so much at Hyatt and expecting a little more.

We stayed at this lovely resort at the beginning of a family vacation prior to checking into a beach house we rent each year further up the Key. The biggest surprise was how much we enjoyed our experience here versus the house. Our ocean front two bedroom corner unit was immaculate and as mentioned by other reviewers the finishes and furnishings were high end. To be fair we were not on the side of the building next to construction so we did not have any noise disruptions. Our experience with the front desk and valet gentleman was exceptional. I chose a four star service rating however because we received some surly looks from the lady who manages the continental breakfast room while we visited in the adjoining owner’s living room after breakfast was officially closed We had been told by the front desk that area is open throughout the day for that purpose so this probably needs to be communicated to her as it sounds like she may’ve treated other guests the same way. Our front desk agent was very accommodating allowing us a later check out while we were awaiting cousins to arrive from the other side of the country on a redeye flight. We appreciated the gesture since this was the high season and were aware the resort was fully booked. The biggest takeaway from this brief visit was now my cousins are thinking of staying here in the next few months and we are considering this property for our 2023 vacation over the beach house. Happy to have made this discovery and looking forward to our next stay.

This was our first time to Siesta Key. I did a lot of research reading reviews ahead of time. We are a family of 4 with 2 older teens and we like things very clean and very spacious. We were also looking for a kitchen and laundry in the unit. We booked a 3 bedroom village view room for 4 nights. The room exceeded our expecations on several levels. It was immaculate and decorated with high end finishings. The showers were really amazing to look at with several spray options but the hot and cold water was a bit tricky to manage. One day we all had lukewarm showers which we mentioned to the desk. My daughter attempted a bath in the master bathtub which looked amazing but the fixtures would not work properly so she abandoned that idea. ( So, some things need fine tuning- but didn't ruin our stay.) The kitchen was really perfect. It had anything a guest could need. We also liked the complimentary wheeled cooler to take to the beach. The elephant in the room (or rather next door) we knew ahead of time that there is a building going up right next door so we figured we would live with it - site and noise. Our balcony looked directly at the construction site which was a disappointment but again it was stated on the Hyatt site so we can't say we weren't warned. However, it was a very active construction site with noise and all. The very best part for us was the location. Being able to walk right out to the beach was fantastic. I recommend that they move the yellow flags out closer to the water as non-hotel guests can plop down right in front of the hotel guests and obstruct their water view that they may have gotten up at 8 am to secure. Guests can also walk to several restaurants and stores. We rented a car and found parking to be super easy at the hotel and around town. We even were able to park several nights at Siesta Key Village shopping area without a lot of problems. Hotel staff was mostly pleasant and helpful - the bar (amazing), the front of hotel driveway, around the pool. Some friendliness improvement training could be done at the front desk and breakfast service. Breakfast was very limited but we found a bagel or scone and coffee to do the trick without leaving the hotel was helpful. The beach front attendant was great. FYI - There is no lifeguard at the pool or at this beach. We purchased lunch on two days and frozen drinks every day. All of it was very good. Overall we were very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others.

My family just spent four days at this property. Awesome place, very clean and the beach...WOW! While we were on site there was some unexpected emergency construction going on in the building and it was causing some noise issues. Due to that Jon Dindo and Guisella Lopez had to deal with some not so pleasant issues. We were very happy with the way in which they handled this very tough situation. Due to their high level of service I know we will be back! This place is really a perfect ten! BTW - Shelly at the bar was one of the nicest people we have ever met and busted her butt every day.
