I recently stayed at Beachpoint Resort Cottages with my two children. I was initially very happy to find a place that would accept dogs as we had evacuated our home due to Hurricane Matthew. A couple of things happened during our stay that were very unfortunate and avoidable. It was bad enough that we cut our stay short after two... More

I have no earthly idea how this place, specifically room 5, got even the slightest hint of a positive review. Where do I start? Well for $200 a night I got nice amenities such as, crumbs and old food particles in the fridge. The 'vintage' ac window unit leaking water onto the floor. The smell from aforementioned ac unit made... More

Our room was very clean and tidy. It was cozy and we felt right at home. We were just steps away from the gulf and enjoyed the funky atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be returning!

BRC is a small group of cottages and rooms perfectly located one block off the beach. It's also located close to the main street of Siesta Key -- a safe two-block walk through a residential area with several good restaurants and a grocery store close at hand. While no pool, modern aesthetic,or fancy bar service, it's best features are the... More

Beach point was recommended to us by friends and we had a great time! Rented cottage 7, cottage was roomy and had everything we could need. Staff and owners are very welcoming and made us feel at home. Very Short walk to beach and close walking distance to siesta key village. Perfect location. They also allow use of beach chairs,... Stayed there years ago. Was very nice. Right across the street from the beach and only two or three blocks from the Siesta Village where all the action is. I love Siesta Key and this place is nice. It's gotten expensive but most places on the Key are.

Spent a few nite in cottage 8, room was very comfortable. Property is very cool Tiki huts, nice Muskoka Chairs to sit in and enjoy the fun. Steps from the Ocean and in a nice secluded part of Siesta Keys Beach. Steve who runs the place is very helpful and friendly. They even have squirrels that come and visit you... More

Each "suite" is different and colorfully decorated. The shared yard is inviting and allows for relaxing in the shade, visiting with other guests or just enjoying all of the "beachy" decorations/planters/water features, etc. Free wifi, laundry facilities available, chairs, bikes and most everything you may need is here. Easy to walk across the street to the beach or up into... More

We gave Beachpoint Resort an average rating because while there are quite a few pros, there are some cons. Steven, the manager, is personable, helpful, and a real asset to this property. The courtyard is full of bromeliads and other tropical plants and is a relaxing place to hang out, bar-be-que on the gas grills, read, or even work on... More

A wonderful experience. The property is so cute- the outdoor space is well taken care of and so relaxing. A great spot to BBQ after a day at the beach. You are just steps from the beach and steps from the nightlife. Once you park no need to drive again you can walk to the market. Thank you to Steve... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
When you vacation at Beachpoint on Siesta Key, you create memories. The eclectic cottages of Beachpoint are only 100 yards from the pure white, sugary sand of Siesta Key Beach. BeachPoint Resort Cottages is one of the very few vacation rental properties with direct access to a private area of the beach accessible primarily by foot or bike. Locals love this quiet and less crowded part of Siesta Beach. Our unique hotel offers eye candy everywhere: colorful cottages set in tropical gardens with vivid flowers, funky local art, large open sun decks and shaded courtyards. Gather with new friends in the courtyard, sunbathe on a deck with an ocean view, or hide away in a shady nook for a quiet read. You are just steps from the water and a short 2 minute stroll from Siesta Village, so you may never need to move your car! In the village you'll find a variety of restaurants and several bars featuring live music. You can shop with the locals for everything from groceries to clothes and shoes, books, souvenirs, and even hardware. And there's a US Post Office right in the local drugstore. All the conveniences are easily accessible, but Siesta Key maintains a feeling of old Florida. Locals treasure our pristine beaches which offer a protected habitat for native island birds, as well as the dolphins, manatees and other aquatic wildlife living just offshore. And each evening, locals and visitors walk or bike to our special part of the beach to see the best sunset views on the key. Once you visit the Beachpoint Cottages, you'll see why so many of our guests come back year after year to vacation with us on Siesta Key. ... more   less
