We spent this past weekend in Sebring and AGAIN, elected to return to The Kenilworth Lodge which in now celebrating 100 years. Built by the famous industrialist George Sebring. A visionary and a great American; A fair man well ahead of his time when segregation was the norm! If you are looking for fancy or modern; this is not for...

The hotel is by no means "up to date" which is ok. It did have that 100 yr old building smell. My husband compared the hallway to our room to The Shining. The service was extremely friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom set up was not functional and there was no where to sit anything but on the toilet...

This is not a fancy hotel and I can understand why some people would rate it lower. Even though it is not fancy, however, I enjoyed staying there as much as many other "nicer" hotel. First, the staff was fantastic. Everything is very laid back and comfortable. Second, the price is right and lastly, the room was huge with a...

Saw the website and it depicts a more stately historic hotel......well it is an interesting building, but in much need of more maintenance then it is getting. For the price point it was lacking in many areas. When we walked up you can see it is much rougher than the nice pictures online, especially on the back side (where we...

We stayed at the Kenilworth as it is near Sebring Raceway. It's an old classic FL hotel, comfortable and clean but run down around the edges and not really comparable to a modern hotel. It was a good value for the money, but be prepared for minimal bathroom amenities and a '90's TV. The Palm Diner and bar immediately behind...

This is the second year my husband and I have stayed at this charming lodge. We just love it. We had a large bicycling group that gathered here over the holidays. Beds were comfortable and refrigerator handy. It is an old historical hotel, so don't expect luxury, but is very comfortable. The breakfast is the best, staff very friendly and...

We recently spent three nights at the Kenilworth in one of the small cabins behind the main building while attending a bicycling event in Sebring. We loved the cabin's small screened porch and the shaded ambiance of the old trees surrounding the area. Our cabin was rustic and roomy, with cool tiled floors, updated furniture, a small efficiency kitchen and...

Old, majestic and beautiful. If only these walls could talk... Great accommodations considering its age and price range. Built approx 100 years ago by George Sebring without plumbing and electricity. Charming and historic. Screams of old florida. Conveniently located next to a great diner. Highly recommended. We will return. We also visited a vineyard nearby called Henscratch Farms which was...

This hotel is lovely! Now mind you it is very old! Having said that let me tell you what I loved about the hotel. First and foremost it was VERY clean! The staff was so pleasant and very helpful. Renee at the front desk even offered to help a few ladies with all their things to bring in for some...

This property overlooks the lake and offers an assortment of options...the main lodge features a lobby where time has stood still...rooms in lodge have refrigerators and are ample in size...continental breakfast is more ample than most hotels offer...they also have individual cottages and bungalows ringing the pool in back of the lodge...rates are very reasonable...only about a mile from sports...
