I booked and got an email reservation confirmation dated November 6th. However, when I called 2 weeks ago, the phone was disconnected and a friend who is in Sebring drove by to find it all boarded up with a notice from the City of Sebring Fire Department shutting it down for not meeting fire regulations. Very sad as I have...

The Keniworth is closed. There was some damage from a fire late last spring. The owner has not been able to complete all of the repairs needed tor code compliance. This is a great loss for the Sebring community and for visitors to this quaint little town.

Love the "old" feel of this hotel. It's been there a long time. The staff was always friendly & helpful. Loved the Continental Breakfast, and talking with other vacationers. Can't say enough enough about the friendly staff.

My one-night stay for a recent conference was one of those adventurous jaunts that values people over circumstance. Weird stuff first, wonderful stuff to follow. The Kenilworth Lodge is historic, built in 1916. Its A/C leaks out in the upper hallways. It's haunted. The first floor is central-air conditioned. The second- and third-floor hallways soak up what's available wafting up...

I'm currently here staying at this historic hotel. They have every type of room you can think of, from standard hotel rooms to suites, poolside cottages & apartment units. I've rented one of their apartments & I'm more than happy with it. It's very updated, tile floors, nicely furnished & spotless!! I love that. Full kitchen with a glass top...

We went there for a quilt retreat. The room was great to quilt in until we were visited by some gigantic palmetto bugs. Our room was okay, but after 2 nights without a comforter or blanket, we asked around and everyone else had one. I think they forgot to finish making ours up! The third night we had a huge...

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hotel is old and very unkempt. Elevators did not work the entire time I was there, the bottled water vending machines were empty, the bathroom shower water would not modulate (first too hot and then cold), the windows would not stay open, noisy air conditioner, etc. I attended an event at...

I stayed with a colleague in a cottage on a business trip. We need a place that met our per diem- which isn’t easy anywhere in Florida! The neighborhood is VERY noisy late at night with cars drag racing and police sirens blasting. The quietest night was the lightning storm for 2 hours- The screened sitting area flooded from all...

My wife and I picked this hotel because it was near the Lake Jackson Bicycle Trail and I like old hotels with character. The property shows its age. The king bed room was small. The facilities (sink, toilet, TV) were old. There was a modern mini-fridge in the room. The breakfast was typical value motel food. The large front porch...
