Our group of 20 had a great time and they provided a great golf package. After having a major hail storm the night before we arrived they made the necessary changes to let us golf on our first day in Sebring. The staff went out of there way to assist us in any way they could.
Yes, this is an older hotel however it is well maintained and the setting is beautiful. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated and was very clean. The hotel staff is friendly and polite. The pool area is a great place to relax. Some basics available at the major chains such as a refrigerator in the room and hair conditioner would have been appreciated. We stayed in a room farthest from the lobby with virtually no wi-fi signal and had to use cell phone personal hotspot. I presume the main building has stronger wi-fi.
Every year we take a golf trip of 12 to 16 couples for a three day golfing getaway at the Inn on the Lakes the staff is very friendly and helpful and ensures that we have a comfortable and happy stay. The food in the restaurant is well prepared and the bar is very relaxing. Enjoying a sunset drink outside by the pool is a special treat. The rooms are comfortable for a three day stay. We have been going to the Inn for 20 years and it gets better all the time.
Have stayed here annually for many years during the same period of time. Customer facing staff is spectacular what does not deliver at all. I believe that they are relying on completely incompetent staff behind the scenes. Not one coffee maker worked until my last day they brought me a new one every day. The breakfast is not edible And only delivered to the room. The building is not well-maintained. While this may be historic it is now turned into hysterical. I will not stay here again if you’re thinking about it consider what you pay here to be a contribution to history and legacy but don’t look for comfort convenience are good food
My husband and I and another couple spent two nights at the Inn. My girlfriend and I had been there on previous occasions for a ladies' golf retreat. This was our second time there with just our husbands. Phil was our contact person and made all the arrangements for us, including two fabulous rooms overlooking the pool and the lake, two days of golf at River Greens and Sun n' Lakes, and reservations for dinner at Chicanes, a marvelous restaurant located on the premises. The two days were perfect. The Inn is classically beautiful with a large lobby and flowers surrounding the pool. Our view of the lake from our rooms included fascinating migration of birds in the evening lining the shore and covering the small island nearby. Staff was accommodating and always gracious. Breakfast was ordered and delivered to your room in the morning. We look forward to a return visit next year.…
Lobby is a Crate and Barrel delivery point. Lobby has cobwebs and mold. Elevator has nice plastic panels tho. Staff is odd (Sergio). The rooms are updated with patio furniture. Room keys are metal, and apparently the deadbolt "locks us in."
On John's Birthday 2005, we saw the "golfers welcome" sign as we drove by Inn. on the Lakes. We stopped, :Phil set us up with golf pkg , and we have visited once or twice a year since. We enjoy the accommodations, the food/bar and friendly staff. December 31st, 2021 we dined and celebrated the New Year at Chicane's. Happy New Year - 2022 John & Yvonne Boyle, Crystal River, FL.
. . . it'll be impossible to mention them all. But I'll try. Amazing service at check in & check out. Bar/restaurant on premises. Beautiful landscaping & lovely pool & deck area. Huge rooms with all the standard amenities. Fabulous housekeeping staff (we travel with a dog). Lovely lakeside rooms with beautiful sunrises. Complementary breakfast sandwiches delivered to the room each morning. Security patrols at night. Great water pressure in the shower, & super-comfortable beds Everything & everyone at this place was wonderful.
Our party has been to Inn On The Lake several times and it is always a good experience. Phil and his staff really take care of the golf arrangements and the bar/restaurant is tops. We always look forward to returning.
we were just there for a car event. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Based on the other hotels around this place was ok...old, but ok. I don't think there are any nicer ones as they all seem to fit this small town. Rooms are tired - old feeling but no real other choices. But again, the staff was very nice. I do NOT like what is going on now where hotels do not really clean room or make the bed.
