This unit seems smaller than a comparable condo in Miramar Beach where my parents stayed 3 years ago. But it was clean, beds comfortable, plenty of blankets for when I got chilly. Walked right out onto the beach, but there's no pool or hot tub. Close to smaller restaurants and stores, but quieter and less crowded than being in Destin... More

Hate that these villas were demolished. They harkened back memories of a simpler time and made Seagrova affordable to the average traveler. Seagrove needs a replacement for these instead of high priced establishments that make it difficult for a young couple or family to afford. Shame they are gone.

I took my children to Seagrove Villlas for many summer vacations and even back again for Fall Break. This was from 2000 to 2007 or so. It was run by the original owners and was just the perfect spot to bring children, friendly staff, large grassy play area for children, those were the days, I hated to see it fall... More

For those people with the bad reviews for August 2012 stay, you won't have to worry about it anymore. This place was demolished shortly after that. You were probably some of the very last guests. I for one am sorry to see it go. It was a landmark.

Now that the old rat trap Seagove Villa Motels is no more and the site is slick as a whistle, you can sit on the roof bar across the street at Whiskey Bravo and enjoy a most beatiful view, sunset and feel the gulf breezes to your credit card's content. Cant argue with the quality of service not no more... More

We have driven by here so many times and wanted an inexpensive, clean place to shower and sleep that was on the beach. The location was really great--no doubt. The room was a little less than hoped for or could have been. The "concierge", Billy, was just about as usesless as could be. Nice, but completely useless. We stayed in... More

If based on location only, this motel would be an absolute gem. However, the motel is sadly neglected, rundown and dirty. Still, the parking lot was full and it seems that the market will gladly bear the $200/night charge. All I can say is that we should've paid attention to the Tripadvisor reviews and paid the extra $59 to stay... More

This place is only spot cleaned. Nothing in kitchen was wiped down n dishes still had food stuck on them, and not just an occasional dish but most of them. I believe they hired blind people for their cleaning service. We had cookies left for us in the bedroom cLoset n washcloths for half of the potential occupants. l believe... More

We slept on the pull out sofa and I would not subject anyone to that. It was all springs and no support, hard to get in and out of and generally terrible. The main room mattress was reported to not be great either. More important, this property is for sale and one of the parcels is already under contract so... More

My boyfriend and I booked weekend reservations here for a Wedding. The price seemed too good too be true for the location. Upon arrival, we were unable to check in until 3pm!! (Even though we arrived at 10:30am and informed the reservationist that we had the wedding rehearsal for 4:30pm). He was extremely rude and unhelpful. Once we got to... More

“All of the "motel" rooms are beach front, as well as cottage #1. The condos are probably nicer, but for the amount of time we are in the room, I prefer the gulf view and breeze. I would definitely suggest the second floor however, for privacy.”
