This is truly a tropical paradise. Driving up to the property, you'd never imagine what is behind the wall of palms/greenery that surrounds the resort. It's a small property (approximately 20 rooms??) but packs a HUGE punch and gives you the vibe that you're in Jamaica at an exclusive tiki resort. It is magical at night with all the twinkle lights overhead, meandering pathways, and firepits. There is an ice machine, communal washer/dryer, screened-in room for games/shade, a small BBQ area with table and chairs, covered tiki huts for shade, plenty of loungers and hammocks, two pools (one adults only), a public restroom near the main pool, yard games such as tic-tac-toe and cornhole, beach chairs for borrow, books for borrow, bikes for borrow, an outdoor shower for rinsing after the pool, on and on. We were in a Key Suite which was 450 sq ft with a full kitchen. The room looked lik it was recently renovated with updated flooring and granite countertops and had plenty of room for three adults. There was one king bed and a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is small but we made do. Isaac at the front desk was very helpful at check-in and offered recommendations and explained the property. I didn't realize how much I would LOVE this little resort. Location is perfect. You're one mile from the bridge that brings you over to Siesta Key (south side). If you go, you will know!!…
This resort was perfect. It had everything my family needed. My 3 kids enjoyed all the games on property. They have 2 pools and not a far walk to the beach and restaurants and free bike rentals. Clean and comfortable. We will be back. Thank you we loved it
I found the resort to be neat and well taken care of! The management and staff where accommodating and very helpful. The rooms very clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and restaurants. Will stay here again.
I honestly don’t know how this hotel has so many good reviews. We checked in and immediately killed two black widow spiders in our shower. There were dust and spider webs in the wall corners. The kitchen stove, refrigerator and the coffee maker were crawling with these little white bugs. There were so many mosquitoes in the room that we had to sleep with bug spray. My child was bitten 8 times inside the room. There was a bug zapper plugged into the wall that was completely filled. There were dead mosquitoes that someone had smacked still on the walls. Black ants with wings that bite in the pool. On the website it says you’re in one story cottages and we were in a two-story building with a bunch of young partying adults who kept us up till 3 AM every morning falling down drunk. You could smell someone smoking marijuana every morning. The hot water went on and off from hot to freezing cold every shower. The air conditioning barely cooled. We were told they had no other rooms when I checked in. I finally had enough and canceled my last night and they would not waive the cancellation fee because they said I did not make them aware of it. I’m pretty sure they’re aware of it every time they go inside the room there’s cracks in the ceilings, the towel racks are falling off the walls, the light switches aren’t even plugged in. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! We checked out and left. If you are going to Sarasota to get drunk and party and don’t care where you sleep then this would be the place to go. Otherwise; save your money. Photos and videos taken to show the bugs and proof of the r tree hinges falling apart.…
We love it here at Siesta Key Palms Resort! This is the best kept secret in Sarasota- Siesta Key area. Conveniently located, wonderful staff, beautiful setting. We were here in December, couldn’t wait to come back and can’t wait to go back again! They have everything you need in the villas. Love the water features, pools and the hammock right outside on our private patio. Such a quiet, relaxing place to stay!! Our new go to place!!
It has everything we need for a great vacation. We love the little patio and the beautiful court yard. A lot of personal touches. Very happy about the overall experience. Note that no early check in before 4 pm.
This feels like a tropical paradise, outside on the grounds. The pools are warm and clean. There are hammocks tucked in quiet corners, a fire pit, lovely plants and bushes provide privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is just a ten minute walk to the most beautiful beach we’ve ever been to. We were slightly disappointed with the size and furnishings of our room, for the price we paid. The appliances are small and getting old. The shower didn’t drain perfectly and the bathroom is very small with no where to put typical supplies, a towel, or clothing. The windows were a little dirty and do not open or have screens. The reservation process was easy and flexible. Parking was secure and convenient. The neighborhood is safe and clean. With a few updates and small improvements this would be a better value. …
Great experiences very kind and friendly people beautiful personalities throughout As well as great food and awsome beach! Love the soft sands and clean restrooms definitely woukd come back and recommended to others ...... Thumbs-up to Siesta Keys !
This little resort was very comfortable and had an island vibe. I will definitely go back. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and front porch sitting area was lovely. There were only two things that kept this from being 5 stars. First, the adults only pool was too cold to enjoy and it could have been cleaner. Second, the road traffic is heavy, making it hard to enter and exit. You just have to be patient.
The grounds are marvelous, beautiful foliage and perfectly maintained. You’re in your own oasis. Our room was impeccably clean. Our only issue was that the bed was not firm. If you have back issues, I’d recommend you request a firm mattress. The pools are well maintained and they have a fire pit to sit around at night. The fellow greeting us at the Office was super friendly. Plenty of hammocks on the grounds. Our room certainly wasn’t sound proof. You could clearly hear the guests next door. We’d definitely stay again. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
