My family reserved two rooms. EACH room is 25$ a day resort on top of what I paid when I got there. The room I was given -the air never went below 79. I asked to be moved. The next day at 10 pm, I called and asked ?!$? Finally got moved. The air in this room got down to 76-but lucky me- they brought fans. The room had no fire alarm, kids with blaring music till 1130pm at the pools and on the ocean side!! Place was crawling with ppl who werent registered there. Everything is outdated, room wasnt cleaned one time the 5 days we stayed. Beachfront was the only thing nice - DO NOT STAY HERE.

The location is excellent and the restaurant has very good breakfast at a reasonable price. The rooms smelled really bad, we were given the option to switch, but after entering 2 other rooms we realized that they all had the same strong smell. Staff is friendly and they all tried to accommodate us as much as they could, but the hotel needs some serious remodeling or updating done to the rooms. Lobby and pool area was fine

This resort is in the most perfect place - Lido Beach! This was my first time visiting Lido / Sarasota and we really enjoyed it. The resort was very well kept, the people that worked there were very helpful, kind, and considerate. They were dedicated to making our stay enjoyable. There are 2 beautiful pools with lots of lounge chairs, in house restaurant with inside and outside dining, a pool bar and spectacular private beach. Lounge chairs, umbrellas and beach towels all included! Free parking.... was another bonus. My husband and I really enjoyed our week at Sandcastle and we are looking forward to going back again.

We visited here 5 years ago for our anniversary and now we are back again celebrating 25 years of marriage. There was a mix up with our reservation due to the airline, no fault of the resort. But Ashley got us fixed right up and let us check in early. We are so happy with our room and the service we received from Ashely! Yes, the resort is old, but is super clean. We are looking forward to spending the next 7 days here.
