This particular condo #532 bayside should not be rented. The owner is a thief and a liar. And Do you make matters worse the condo that’s awful. Feel like boxsprings. Pillows are cheap and flimsy feels like cotton balls are inside of them. The bath towels are old, cheap and rough. The couches are old and dirty. The dining room set had mismatched cheap vinyl chairs with wobbly legs. The barstools to the kitchen counter or zip tied. The toilets run. Upon arrival the place was filthy I had to clean the bathrooms and dust. Lightbulbs need a changed. Parts were broken in the refrigerator. The master bedroom was hot. The patio furniture was cheap plastic material. Hardly any dishes and glasses and they were all missed matched. And the place was bare with no pictures in the bedroom, no extra amenities not even a deck of cards or a sand bucket with toys or anything for the beach. Who would be able to bring all that stuff when flying on vacation? The pictures were deceiving he made it look like his window looked out at the pool to the ocean, and it was clearly across the street when I got there. And if you read all the reviews on booking.com, he tries to keep your security deposit. And then he send you the keys to your house instead of at the office so you have to spend $20 to send them back out of the country to Canada. I hope people read this for they decide to book at this place. Please be aware. My stay was August 2021.

Thank you so much for submitting your review. I will send your review to the owner of this unit, as it looks like you rented it directly through them. This unit is not in our rental program, however the review shows up under our business. I am very sorry to hear that your vacation was not enjoyable. Please give Midnight Cove another chance and call our office to book one of our units. Thank you.

Condo we rented was fine except for the ants and walls being paper thin. Had a large group upstairs and could hear them. Other than that the location was good by a few restaurants and stores. Wouldn’t stay here again though. Biggest complaint is the beach chair service. We were told it started at 9:00 am and every morning chairs were gone by 8:15! The general manager Alana was rude and not pleasant to deal with and didn’t stick to her own rule that she emailed out to guests restating the chairs would start at 9;00. Isn't a relaxing vacation when you have to sprint to the beach at 8:00 to get chairs, and we were expected to sit in right then. The manager actually moved our friends stuff and gave their chairs to another party one morning. He went up to his gulf side condo to get a cup of coffee! She didn’t want empty chairs and I said people may want to walk the beach and she said we had 30 mins not to be in the chairs or she would give them away. What?! Ridiculous! I get Covid makes them spread chairs out but there weren’t even enough for half the guests. They finally brought in 60 more chairs a few days later.

My family and I were looking forward to a week away from August 22 to August 29 and were excited to stay at Midnight Cove, having found a unit we liked and suited our group perfectly. On Thursday, August 20th I awoke to the news of a potential storm heading towards that area and I called to ask if I could reschedule. I was told no and was read the cancellation policy "verbatim." I knew what the policy said, I was asking for flexibility given the situation. I was told someone would look into it but when they called me back I was once again informed that they would not accommodate my request. There was plenty of availability for the week I was trying to reschedule to. It was only two weeks away. However, they were not willing to do a thing. I also sent an email using their "CONTACT US" option, trying once again to ask for some consideration. It has been more than 24 hours and no acknowledgment whatsoever. Luckily my credit card offers trip cancellation for benefits for this exact purpose and I have already filed the claim; I will not lose my money. For that reason I have already rescheduled for two weeks from now but definitely NOT AT MIDNIGHT COVE. In their policy it states no refunds or cancellations. I find it unreasonable that they DO NOT allow any rescheduling. So many other locations in the area actually have modified their policy given the current situation, allowing more flexibility than in previous times. Midnight Cove needs to look into this matter. This is just not good practice.

This was our first stay and it was recommended by others. Initially everything seemed okay however it should mention in the details that this specific unit is 3 flights of stairs that are not lighted at night (husband fell). Having kids including and infant with tons of things was very exhausting trying to load it back and forth using the stairs. Never again staying on a higher floor unless it has an elevator. Another issue was trying to get a guest pass for my mom. I missed the email that had multiple links about the cdc guidelines for Covid 19. The very last link stated that they would not be giving out guest passes at this time. The other 10 emails I had all stated guest passes would be allowed if available and not a hidden link. This should’ve been told to us from the beginning. The 2 people we spoke to at the front office were extremely rude and called my husband a liar. They were extremely unprofessional. The place itself was okay, not worth the money we spent. The pool was warmer than the ocean so don’t expect to cool off there. The umbrella and beach chairs are a constant fight to see whom can reserve them first at 6am. They rules state no reserving chairs allowed however it’s not enforced at all. Some days depending on the chair person working the umbrellas were taken from us at 4:30 with no explanation leaving my poor kids without shade. They currently will not allow your own tent so that wasn’t an option either. You have to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and everything else that is essential. This was never sent in an email or told by the person I booked with over the phone. The main room was extremely hot compared to the rest of the house and we sweated all through the night. There is a coffee maker but make sure to get your own filters. I feel with the amount of money we paid that it would be a nice gesture to leave the guest some small items like coffee filters..the beds are not comfortable and the towels provided are like sand paper if you need some exfoliating. So with all of that info I think you could guess that we won’t be coming back. We decided to stay another week in Siesta but moving to a different and hopefully better location. Oh I almost forgot... there is no one monitoring social distancing as they claim and the one night we used the grill had over 30 people having a party/bbq. We didn’t see one person with a face mask, the grills haven’t been cleaned in the last 8 years because my husband burnt his eyebrow off from the huge fire that occurred. The food on the bottom of the grill caught fire and burnt our burgers. A person from the party had to run over to help with water. Look elsewhere if you want a relaxing place to stay.

We went on a trip the week after Christmas. The condo was clean and very well stocked. The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in room 711 across the street from the beach access, we were on the first floor and could walk right out to the bay. The pools were clean, there were several grill and picnic areas, tennis courts and chairs and umbrellas were provided on the beach.
