We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely little inn along the Gulf of Mexico. It was the perfect vacation get-away. Dawn was a lovely host even taking the time to text us to offer an early check-in. She was always so friendly and helpful during our stay. The inn is in a very quiet and picturesque section of the... More

Spent a night at the Tarpon Tale Inn. The innkeeper was wonderful. Hospitable, informative helpful. She suggested 3 places to eat ant all three were great. The inn is quite old, but clean as a pin and has a great location. Close to the gulf beach as well as the bay side and an equal distance stroll to the lighthouse.... More

This little hotel wound up being a gem! It's quaint, very clean, and comfortable. The innkeeper Dawn is a sweetheart; we had booked a smaller room but due to bad weather, the inn was not busy and she upgraded us! I love that! She also gave recommendations of places to eat. We were only there one night and it rained,... More

We actually stayed here in March of 2015 and we had a wonderful time. That being said I totally forgot to write up a review. The Manager Dawn supplied us with sweat treats everyday and info on places to see. Our cottage was very nice and even though you are next door to other cottages you still feel secluded. The... More

This trip was beyond wonderful! Living is the Greater Fort Lauderdale area it was wonderful to get away for the weekend. It is a quick 2 hour trip but it feels like a whole new world. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who gave us a quick tour of the propety. We stayed to Sea Shell 2... More

This inn was the most accommodating place I have ever stayed in. Even though check-in wasn't till 3pm, we were allowed to check in just before noon. The manager even apologized that it wasn't ready by 11:30! So incredibly nice. The cost of the room was well worth it; it came with beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, bike rentals,... More

This Inn is a hidden gem. It is on the quieter side of the island so it is perfect if your looking for a quiet getaway. The room was extremely clean and the size was great as well. I loved the patios with each room and the gates gave you a sense privacy which was nice. The staff was very... More

If nobody reads this, maybe it will help just a little to keep the east end of the island a secret! It's amazing how much quieter things are once you're east of the causeway. We stayed at the Tarpon Tale on July 4th weekend, and it was a pleasant surprise how much of the beach we had to ourselves. As... More

We spent three nights in the Lighthouse II room and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was one large room with a bed, kitchen area, dining table, couch and rocking chair, and a separate bathroom with shower only. The room was nice and location perfect...only a short walk down a dirt road to get to the best shell beaches in the U.S.... More

We loved our stay! We stayed here for three nights in the Tarpon Cottage. This particular room has a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and hidden bonus room with a twin bed. It was the perfect size for my wife, son, and myself. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare meals for our stay and the wifi was good... More
