This was our favorite hotel in the Destin/Miramar Beach area for a long time, but sadly, it has went downhill. We had two rooms this last trip, and both of them had issues. The mattresses seemed worn, at least compared to the Hilton standard that we're used to. Our "upgraded" rooms were poolside and extremely noisy with the pool being open until 11pm. I would have preferred to keep the standard rooms I reserved in a quieter area. Most of the staff we interacted with seemed rushed or overwhelmed. Even the food from the restaurants was just mediocre. We typically prefer to pay extra and stay at nicer hotels. At this price point, there are really better options for Destin/Miramar Beach visitors nowadays.

Another Great Stay at Sandestin Hilton! We were given a Diamond upgrade to a beautiful beachview room in the Tower. The housekeeping, front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful to us. We enjoyed peel and eat shrimp in the Barefoot Beach Restaurant. Thanks for another memorable beach visit!

I feel like I should not review this hotel because when the word gets out on how great it is, I will never be able to book again. I have traveled the world staying at Hilton properties. This was the absolute best of the best! And the beach, best in the US by a long shot.

Place is great you hardly ever leave it is so nice. Coffee shop? Check Beeakfast place? Check lobby bar? Check sushi? Check? Steak fine dining? Check great swimming pools? Check Rooms clean? Check Amazing beach with beach and umbrellas service? Check Only downgrade is the beds need changed out they are tired but I heard that was coming soon. Absolutely love this hotel!

We were here for a long weekend for a business conference. Our king suite was quite large and had two bunk beds with their own TVs, a sleeper couch, table and two chairs, fridge, microwave and safe. There was a second sink area where you could get ready when someone was using the bathroom. It was nice to have. Pool area was nice. Lots of chairs available and pool service at your seat. The food at the restaurants was good although pricey. The coffee shop had a line in the morning and took a little while. All of the staff that we encountered were very nice. We had several events in the meeting rooms that included bar service and buffet appetizers. The waitstaff were right there to clear the empty plates and glasses. Amazingly relaxing Memorial Day week. I enjoyed a great view, luxurious serenity by the sea spa experiences, tasty tuna tataki, great fried grouper, live music. Abundant skilled staff and bartenders. Beautiful beach resort has it all!

We were woke up at 5:30am by the kids in the room next door. Thousands of people everywhere. Not a vacation. Beach insanely overcrowded. 6 rows of umbrellas, no room to lay out or enjoy anything. Will not go back, will not even go back or stay in destin. Spa great, people nice and friendly but again not a relaxing vacation. A joke and a waste of money.

Horrible customer service. We had hotel staff barge into our room twice unannounced while our 4 year old was taking a bath due to a leak and the lady stood in the bathroom until we kicked them out and told them to comeback later. Charged us for an upgraded room which wasn’t and promised us a 2pm checkout which wasn’t honored. I will never stay at this hotel again. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE 🚩🚩🚩

Warning Black Mold. We found black mold in the ceiling and in the AC unit. If you stay here be warned you will more than likely be breathing this in. Bellhop was rude. This was not the Hilton standard we are used too. We woke up feeling sick with sore throats and congested after further looking around the room and at the AC unit whose cover fell off on the middle of the night from the motor rattling around all night we found our worst fears inside and we were breathing that nasty stuff in all night.

Beach is great. There has to be cleaner and cheaper places in San Destin than to stay at this run down Room crappy hotel. There was a used ear cleaner in middle of hall the entire trip. Shower handle fell off. No housekeeping service even when absolutely promised. They kept texting me to see how the trip was until I told them they weren’t doing anything so I told them to stop. Stay away from here.
