This was my 3rd stay at the hotel. I absolutely love this place! It's a historical spot. Built back in the 20's, so expect small eclectic rooms. It's within walking distance to many restaurants, clubs, venues, shopping, art, etc. Just perfect! Yes, the elevator is super tiny & does take forever but again, remember when it was built. The staff...

We were treated quite rudely upon arrival by the staff. It did not exactly make us feel welcome. The hotel is next to a big construction site so there is alot of noice too. Rooms were small but cleanish. Elevator was the slowest ever? Not coming back here ever. Location is the only positive thing about this hotel as it...

Dear robert h, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We were not trying to be rude we were just informing you we can not do early check ins when the hotel is full and have no clean rooms. We are sorry that it came out in a wrong way. The hotel was built in the...

We have stayed here twice now. Both times we had a very good experience. It is a small hotel, right next door to the Hampton Inn and Suites. We like Hampton Inns, but their price on both occasions was double that of Ponce de Leon. The Ponce is not brand new by any stretch, and if you want a cookie...

Dear Shaun T, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's always a pleasure to see the feedback from our guest. Our little boutique hotel was built in the 20's and that's what gives it its charm. The staff strive to do there best thank you for noticing. We would love to have you back whenever in...

Reminded me of a European hotel with staff that seemed to come from all over the world. Could not say enough nice things about this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone! And the location is amazing, ability to walk anywhere.....food/shops/movies, ect.

It is a retro ‘boutique’ hotel, built in the 1920s with clean, comfortable, compact and reasonably priced rooms. The sliding closet doors might not close if you have more than a carry-on sized suitcase. The elevator is small and slow, but it works! The air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The only noise was the construction of a big building...

It was okay. Small room but everything you need. Kind of had a musky old smell but the hotel is kind of old but tries to give itself a look that fits. It is walking distance to downtown. Parking is down the street in a garage so be aware of this. It works for a night maybe two but I...

Loved it. Cute, eclectic, walking distance from the waterfront and great restaurants. Would stay there again. Staff was great. Room was clean, and cleaned well. Sheets were a little worn, but clean and the bathroom was small, but again clean. It worked. The price was right, the location was perfect. The only down side is the construction. They do start...

Very cute remodel, great location; all aesthetics are there. However, very uncomfortable beds and our room had a mold problem. The mold has been painted over , but when you run the shower, the stuffy eyes and runny nose begins and lasts all night. If you are intolerant to mold, don't stay here. If beds and mold issue were resolved,...

I travel quite a bit for business and try to seek out smaller 'boutique' hotels for their uniqueness. The Ponce is one of those hotel that I stay in whenever I travel to St Petersburg FL. The rooms are small but well appointed with a retro 70's ambiance. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and you cannot beat the...

The location is great, it is an older hotel very clean, hotel staff was great, if you are looking for fancy this is not the place. It was a place to sleep, bed was comfortable, room small. Good spanish restaurant next door, easy to get around lots around them.
