I drove four hours after work on a Friday with my wife to the hotel only to find out my reservation was CANCELLED because they 'couldn't reach me'...my phone doesnt always have perfect service didn't ring when they tried to confirm...once. Of course every other room within 100 miles was also booked so I had to drove to Arcadia to get a room. Don't waste your time with these idiots!

First, this place was great years ago. Now, awful, old, not clean, or updated. Check-in took some time and you have to park over a block away at a garage and they charge you $10 for this for each car. At chcek-in, we were told the TV was not working and to wait so they can fix it. We decided not to sit there and go explore. Some time later, we go back to the room and both room keys did not work!! That happened EACH time we went to go into the room!! Room was small, damp, dark heavy chemical smell and not very clean. At the end of the night, and the last time we tried to get into the room, we again COULD NOT get in. We had to go down yet again and complained to the front desk. The guy at the desk was EXTREMELY rude and essentially told us too bad! We then discovered the TV was completely removed from the room! We also went to get our cars and the pass keys also were NOT fully opertational and we were LUCKY to be together to get in and out of the parking lot!! Needless to say, we live local and decided NOT to stay at this sad place! No offer for any refund, but they did say they would refund parking fee, but not sure if they did that yet as it was a separate charge on my card. HORRIBLE experience. Lots of other places nearby to go to. I reccommend you do!

Great service, clean rooms, excellent location. My wife and I stayed for 4 days on our adult vacation and have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. If you’re high maintenance you should probably move along. This Hotel is dated as it was built in the 1920’s, however it has everything that someone needs who is not spending their entire vacation in the hotel room. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and the staff was pleasant! We have no complaints!

I drove to town for a Rays' game and wanted to stay downtown and not pay a ton. This place was OK. It's OK. Don't expect a five-star stay. But it's adequate, especially for a single traveler - like me - or a couple that wants to save some money and spend time out on the town or at the beach. Smells were one things that needs to be addressed. I noticed the smell of marijuana in the hallway of the sixth floor. Also there was a foul odor in the bathroom. I propped open the window and closed the door to the bathroom. Bottom line: If you want a small old-time place to stay near everything downtown St Pete has to offer consider this place. There's so much to do and see I wouldn't plan to hang out at the hotel. Sleep here. Shower here. And get out on the town.

Room Tip: By the way, ask for a view of the marina . I was on the top floor and it was a nice view.
