In the last few years of coming here it was a hit or miss proposition, mostly misses. I am happy to say that the new pool area and upgraded patio are awesome, as is the improvement in security. They have gone to wristbands for guests and timeshare owners and this lets all who are supposed to be there separate from...

The AC was so loud when it kicked on it made me jump all night. I had the wonderful pleasure of sleeping on the old pull out coach which was very uncomfortable!! Pool was very nice but NO umbrellas anywhere, it was so hot we were seeking shade anywhere under the palm trees...what kind of hotel doesn't have umbrellas at...

Nothing special but does its job. Stayed in a lot worse places and stayed in a lot better places. Clean room, comfy bed, a place to eat and it is right on the beach. Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice pool. The only bad thing, which is not terrible, was the wash machine and dryer were not working properly. But when the...

Pros: Location is fabulous! Was dated but clean. Pool was the best in St. Pete. Cons: Front desk was not friendly nor helpful. They seemed bothered by simple requests. Almost annoyed a guest may ask a question. They definitely were not the highlight at all. Note to management: maybe find some new folks.

Visited friends for the day who stayed here. It's right next door to the trade winds resort but less expensive. It's not updated with the latest and greatest but most places aren't . But it was clean. They had a one bedroom unit. It had small kitchen area with fridge, dishwasher, sink , microwave can't remember if they had a...

We stayed here 3 nights to extend our week long stay at Madeira Beach. Room was large, living room, efficiency kitchen, bath area with dual sinks, bedroom, storage. Daily maid service was a welcome surprise. There was no private outdoor space, but large wrap around balcony/hallway with chairs outside each room. Pools (2) and hot tubs (3) were beautiful and...

If you're looking for a semi dated resort with a beautiful beach and do not have high expectations for your room then coral reef will suit you. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly (minus one office staff member who will not be named). If you have a concern they will help you very quickly. The rooms are dated, the...

This place gets better every time we visit. They have upgraded the pool. They are also keeping up with upgrading the condo interiors. There are no bad views. 12 units face the water directly. The rest of the units have a nice angled side view of the ocean. If you like to cook, bring some utensils and pans, etc. The...

We booked a room for the 4th of July weekend. We were set for many things to go wrong (knowing that they were fully booked) but to our surprise everything went smoothly from check-in to the cleanliness of the room and our view was FANTASTIC. When we asked for a couple extra pillows they were delivered promptly. All the staff...

After traveling all day and arriving in a huge storm we stopped here, we don't typically stay in motels but were desperate for a room. The rooms were newly remodeled and very accommodating. I'm the morning we could see the property and the landscaping was beautiful and there was a lot to offer. This is an older property but it...
