We arrived on the day of Hurricaine Idera - staff were helpful assiting us with alternative hotel, whilst the storm passed. When allowed back, we were upgraded to a pool view room, which also gave view of the beach. - Beautiful! Spacious rooms - although decor is dated - very clean! Hotel staff were very accomodating to all requirements. Poolside area was relaxing - low level music playing. LIve music on the Sundays. Labor day weekend was very busy, but once that was over, Hotel was quieter again. Also when we were here, one of the weekends hosted a Volleyball tournament, which made the hotel busier. I would sum this hotel up as great spot on St Petes beach, quiet hotel with laid back feel. if youre looking for onsite evening entertainment at the hotel - this isnt for you. Although there is live music fairly nearby to be able to go to. Publix store across the road, to get any snacks for room etc. Overall Great Holiday and would definitely go again! …

A hidden gem on SPB! The hotel is a great location with ample parking (most beach resorts are limited and it can be frustrating). The entire staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating! The rooms are a little dated but the sheets were soft, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Plus you’re really here for the beach anyway. I would definitely stay here again!

Jim, the bartender, was the best! He stayed later than hours, because he didn’t want to kick out out! He was also a great conversationalist. We had karaoke at the hotel, which was super fun. I brought down the house with “Baby Got Back!”

We had a wonderful experience! Thanks to Christine at check in she made the experience unforgettable! Great beach and views! Sea shells are awesome too. Beach volleyball was a great extra experience. Plenty of nets right on the beach. Pool looks really nice at night.

My fiancé & I booked last minute due to the other hotel we had booked was flooded by the hurricane. Luckily the dolphin had a room available for our anniversary! We’ve stayed here before & loved it but this time was even better. Rita was so amazing & she exceeded our expectations. We love the dolphin & will continue to stay here whenever we’re in town. I visited Flippers, as I do often. You have great bartenders and my favorite is Teresa Moschella. She, I think, us the best bartender on the beach! I love to see her work on a busy day. She can handle 10 orders at once and remembers everything! She also remembers names of guests and of locals like myself. Plus she remembers my favorite drink and beer.

We had drinks at Flippers and Teresa the bartender gave us excellent service! She remembered our drinks upon reorders! Great service!! Our friends have never had such great service! They said they will be back for sure even though they live in Tampa!
