Do not go here! Do not waste your money! We've been going to the Miramar for Memorial day weekend for many years and have also gone other weekends over the years, and while it's never been the top of the line, we always had a good time. However, this past visit (5/2023) was so beyond disgusting and disappointing. The place has gone way down. We had a king suite. No baseboards in the living room, dead roach under the pullout couch, windows were not locked and one would not close because it was warped and the track was full of sand, dirty dishes in the cabinets, joke of a stove and the microwave door and base were about to break, and the toilet barely flushed. I wouldn't clean my car with the towels they provided. I provided pictures of the towels and they had not been used when I took the pictures. Complete filth everywhere. To be charged over 860 bucks to stay in this complete sh*t hole from Fri-Mon is absurd and a total ripoff!. I will never, nor will anyone in our group ever come back. They should have leveled it last year like they said they were going to do. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Gave it 1 star for the beach access and view and the pools we clean and ok.

Definitely not a resort. We dubbed it “Shabby-lago”. Very dated, poor condition. Noisy window air conditioner; broken bathroom fixtures; no staff after 4 pm. When we got there at 4:30, our check in info was taped to door with letter that included emergency number to call with problems. The mini-oven in our room wouldn’t turn off (previous tenant or housekeeping must have turned it on). It was slightly warm and we were concerned about fire hazard (and not sure smoke detector was working since other appliances were not.) Called emergency number. Got voicemail asking us to leave detailed message-but then got “mailbox is full”. That said, the next day, the staff was very nice, replaced broken coffee maker and lamp, got stove tuned off. Note: website shows nice chairs and umbrellas on what is described as private beach. They did not exist. The office will lend you used folding beach chairs (that they told us other guests had left behind) to carry down, but no umbrellas. We walked 1/3 mile to public beach where they had nice umbrellas and chairs set up for rent for $40/day, first come basis. Got our steps in walking back and forth from chairs to our room though. St. Pete’s in general was great -but do not recommend Shabby-lago (aka Miramar Resort).

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. There were literally cockroaches crawling around the floor, two, three, four at a time. The floor was filthy, and the service was terrible. I asked for a callback from the manager and never received one. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Stay away.

Do not go here. It is horrible, outdated & dirty w/ many pieces of broken furniture. The management is horrible and tried offering a new room in even worse condition. When stated it was unacceptable, they refused to give any refund. When we reached out to our booking agent, they contacted the hotel directly and because the hotel found out we reached out to our travel booking, they blocked us from everything else. So we had to pay for a room that we didn't stay at. The pictures of the property are misleading. Check-In is at 3pm but the office closes at 4pm and no one is helpful.

Run down and poorly cared for. Dirty and broken surfaces, threadbare towels, smokers everywhere, outdoor furnishings not organIzed or maintained. Non-refundable bookings lock travelers in. Wife was quite disappointed with my choice.

Let me start by saying I am fine with an out dated/ a little “rundown” hotel as long as it’s clean. Well unfortunately this hotel was neither. We found multiple cockroaches in our room, the sink was not cleaned from previous guests and filled with shaving clippings. We love St. Pete and always do an early summer trip there but we will not be staying at the Miramar again 🤮DO NOT STAY HERE! Disgusting hotel

Just spent the weekend on St Pete beach. The word “resort” is a far stretch for this place. To start with parking is horrible, the rooms are very small, outdated not to mention the furniture is from the 1970’s. The AC window unit struggles to keep the room comfortable they consistently are damp, and it’s February. There is no maid service so expect to go looking for towels, and the office closes early. Forget about a good shower as the temp goes from ice cold to extremely hot. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Small resort that is in need of some improvements, but overall we loved the atmosphere and the comfy bed. As mentioned in previous reviews, the blinds really need to be replaced!! The small kitchenette is adorable and quaint. I wouldn’t want to make a big meal in it but it’s perfect for making a quick bite to eat. We loved our stay and we will be back!
