Great location, steps away from the beach. When arrived to "resort" (I do not consider this location to be a resort, It's a glorified motel) the office staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. Did not feel welcomed. Actually felt like me being a visitor was wrong. Room was clean but outdated and run down. Bathroom was small. Maintenance staff... More

The room wasn't ready when we arrived (we were way early) but the staff accommodated us by allowing us to use the room to change and hang out by the pool until check in time. Staff was very friendly and the room was perfect.

Small Mom and Pop place but clean and friendly people. Great tiki bar 2 hotels down. It's an older place but decorated nice 2 nice size pools right on the beach. The price is not bad for the hotel and close to grocery store and liquor store. Nice restaurants close by as well.

We were called a week prior to visit to learn that they were undergoing some testing to the structure but it would not affect our stay (Why did they call us then?)...low and behold for three mornings all we heard was construction noise and there was construction tape and parts of the building were closed.....and when we complained, we were... Let me start out by saying I usually never complain. We booked our room for friday at 3 pm for friday night to tuesday morning. Things came up and we were no longer going to be able to stay friday night. We called 3 times before the hours they said they closed (4pm)and no answer. Once we arrived we were... More

Stayed at Miramar from April 6-12. I would rate the room as average-very good. It wasn't a 5 star room by any means. But with as much time as we were in the room it was fine. The bed was comfy, the set up worked fine for my husband & I. Plenty of room to hang clothes but more hangers... More

There was no security or staff on the property at nights and the manager said to call police if there is a problem or issue concerning noise. We stayed here in the past and have now found it to be a cliquey group staying there that is unwelcoming to outsiders. It was a hotel without character.

This year it was full of one huge family/friends; snobby drunks with kids. This was my 3rd visit and i was treated like crap by... More

This place is a great "mom and pop"! We have been coming here every year for the last SIX! Yes, the rooms are old and need some repair, but who goes to the beach and STAYS IN THE ROOM!!!! Love the pools and being so close to the beach. Its a family atmosphere and everyone treats each other like family... More
