As a Hilton Diamond Member I expect all "Hilton" branded hotels to have the highest of standards. Call me a hard reviewer or whatever....I just want to stay in nice places and that's why I trust in the Hilton brand to provide me with a safe, nice, peaceful, and relaxing stay. This hotel was not an expensive stay but does that mean you lessen your rating? Honestly to me even for the price it was a let down, and not a place I personally would ever choose again because it was filthy dirty!!!! So many things were just below my expectations of a "Hilton"branded hotel. It was so bad I had to contact the Hilton Diamond Desk to get out of staying here and to help us find a better place. It's very hard to look at all the hotel reviews and sort through staged photos and biased reviews because we all know these marketing teams try everything possible to keep many reviews off or even hide them by "padding" reviews. That means soliciting several good reviews to make only good reviews show on the 1st page. My horribly low review 1 out of 5 is fair honest and from an experienced travelers view. If I could give this hotel lower it deserves it! I don't feel bad with being straight up honest and this is the absolute dirtiest and most lacking "Hilton" branded hotel I have ever witnessed. As soon as I saw all the low level of cleanliness and the lack following the Hilton covid 19 standards we have experienced at all other hotels. This hotel needs banished from the "Hilton" label.…
Located across the street from a great beach, lots of fun places to eat an easy walk away. Be sure to grab one of the orange flags when you cross the beach. Nice staff. No in room cleaning during stay due to COVID but everything in the neighborhood was open. The ice-cream shop across the street one block down is worth the wait.
Did a day stay to get some r & r away from the kids. Room was clean. Hotel was clean. No complaints. Bed could have been a little bit more comfier. Easy to access beach. Cute restaurants nearby. Looks like all protocols for safety were used. Room was super clean as well as the lobby.
Location...5 stars....Hotel 2 stars Honestly, if I wasn’t exhausted when I arrived I wouldn’t have spent a single night there. It’s obvious the GM is trying to cut corners during the pandemic. I checked out after one night with the primary concern being safety. On the 2nd floor there were at least two rooms propped open all night and clearly NOT occupied by guests. Secondly, they have an exterior door to the mechanical room propped open with bubble wrap. Elevator floor was filthy with sand and garbage (seriously nasty). Finally, I just didn’t feel like the room was clean. All of the other Hilton properties I’ve stayed at recently have had the Lysol signs and “sealed” rooms when you check in. NOTHING like that here. The room smelled primarily of mold. Small things like the hairdryer and remote had obviously not been wiped down (due to the amount of crud on them...). Last, but not least and really just annoying...Digital keys didn’t work on the side entrance or the room. …
Yes, we know there is a pandemic...but NO one was in the lobby most of the time! I've never seen a place so understaffed! The entire lobby was taped off...i get social distancing..but this was ridiculous...the room was nice and clean...but didn't like that the lobby was like a ghost town...and that we had to call HELLO to get help at the front desk...
