I've stayed at a lot of hotels and Casa Monica is by far the most beautiful hotel I've ever been. The staff was extremely friendly, room was beautiful and the property was over the top. The tunnel where you bring your car was super tight and once you are in, your not able to back out. The valet staff were very professional and the bellman worked to get us unloaded. Loved the hotel and will go back to visit.
Casa Monica is our favorite hotel in Florida. We love the historic architecture and decor. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The amenities are first class. The hotel's location in the heart of the historic district makes it easy to walk to outstanding restaurants and museums. We will definitely be back again.
I wanted to share some stellar feedback for Shane and Tina at Casa Monica in St. Augustine. My husband and I stayed there between 9/8 - 9/11 visiting family. Shane and Tina went above and beyond providing superb service and making us feel so very much appreciated. I have travelled (A LOT) around the world and certainly with Bonvoy and in all of my experience this was the 1st time I have received this level of service especially using points. The entire staff was wonderful, playful and extremely informative. The culture there seems like a wonderful team environment where they have each other's backs and take special care of their guest. Thank you to Shane and Tina for how special you made out visit!
Chose place bc of location. Closest to wedding venue. Very disappointed in place. Not at all worthy of prices charging. Pull out couch is of no value. Better off sleeping on floor. Worst mattress ever. Nothing especially nice about place.
We had a wonderful 3 days in St. Augustine celebrating our anniversary, despite our disappointing premium king sized hotel room. The greatest disappointment was that the sole window was only 2 and half feet high, located at floor level, and provided only a view of the concrete tile roof of the building across the street. The toiletries were left over from the previous guests. The front desk apologized and said they would have new ones immediately delivered to our room, never happened. We had to request House Keeping to change our sheets, as they did not have clean sheets on our bed at check-in. It took 7 minutes of running the shower before we had any hot water. There was insufficient closet space to hang our clothes. An awful, awful, awful room.
The entire staff was so helpful and kind. The room were terrific and the location and the d amenities can’t be beat we decided to have my Mom pampered at the Spa with a facial. Well, Elizabeth (Lizzy) was amazing with her. I would highly recommend both Lizzy and the spa.
Part of choosing a hotel is its location and the amenities offered but most importantly the opportunity to feel like you were at home. Our server Grace was truly remarkable. She was informative, courteous, efficient, overall excellent at her job. Grace, the pleasure was ours. We hope the hotel recognizes that you were a part of why we would decide to return again.
The staff members were friendly & helpful but hard to make up for for the lack of upgrades & other amenities at this property. The room was very ordinary with no particular redeeming features. The off site all adult private club (Sernata) was under staffed & did not offer any poolside service (unacceptable). Not a bad venue, as it was overpriced for what you get.
As a titanium member, this hotel came far from the statuary of a resort and spa! Rooms dated, service was horrible, restaurant appeared to be closed due to lack of guests, breakfast items that included eggs did not even have a piece of bread, resort fee was a joke as their were no resort services. Should have listened to a friend and stayed in a B&B!

Very top notch.Nice roomy bathroom. Affordable with great value Fun outdoor pool and patio with awesome service.
