Called to make a reservation... asked if boxers were on their "not allowed" dog list and was told they were. Our female boxer is "AKC Good Citizen Certified' - you guessed it - that doesn't matter. This place will never see my business.

Great campground. Natural beauty at its best. The entire campground is packed sand, the lots are large and the lush foliage provides great privacy. It's very quiet, situated between the ocean to watch the sunrise and the river (bay) which provides awesome viewing of the incredible sunsets. Also, Aunt Kate's is a must!!! I do recommend bringing bug spray and... More

The RV park is very well maintained and the staff very helpful and friendly. The sand/crushed shell roads and RV pads are in good condition. We enjoyed the seclusion provided to each site by natural landscaping - oak trees, palmetto, and other local undergrowth. It was well trimmed to provide a screen between RV sites. The pier area on the... More

What a campground this place is; what an exceptional BEAUTIFUL property. The beach is right across the road. The river is directly in the back and the sunsets over the river are simply awesome. Sunsets at Key West are probably jealous of the sunsets here. Many of the campsites are like camping in a cave canopy of trees. The TREES... More

Summer in Fl. hot as heck,.... but the bathhouse was so cool I was tempted to drag my air mattress in and sleep there. Site had electric so we did plug in a fan at least but there was no grill for charcoal so we had to buy a disposable one to cook out. The restaurant was good and we... More

This campground has full hookups, good wifi and is located between the salt water,Tolomato River and the Atlantic Ocean. Hours of walking on sandy beaches, shady camp sites and friendly staff make this a very nice place to spend a few days. The the St. Augustine historic district is only minutes away by car.

Called to get reservations, they found out we travel with two slobbering English Bulldogs and refused to let us bring them along because of "insurance". Told them I felt they were mistaking their dog breeds as I am unfamiliar with ANY insurance companies that refuse to insure because of a English Bulldog. Pittbulls, Chows, Rottweilers, I understand. But an ENGLISH... More

Honestly, I would have to call it the redneck Riviera of campgrounds. Golf carts racing around, especially since its such a long walk to the pool or beach, ha, ha. Really didn't like the idea of the old trailers people live in scattered throughout the park. It is shaded and semi private, our site was flat, not level. It seemed... More

Nice size camping sites with bushes separating the sites and providing overhead shade! Quiet and peaceful campground with great beach access - just walk across the street and you're at the beach! In the evenings in May, the beach is pretty much empty so we'd head over with our dog and walk the beach. Wifi access could have been stronger... More
