Great room on the water. Boat slips are available so once you launch you can keep your boat handy for a quick run to the Atlantic or explore some inshore areas for Red Fish and Trout and the occasional Flounder. Nice walking area in the marina confines or access to the Bridge which spans the harbor. Great place to go for a nice stroll with restaurants on the other side of the bridge or a very short walk to Kingfish Grill Restaurant for dinner and cocktails. In the morning in room coffee will get you through until the Odd Birds Cafe opens with a very nice selection of Baked goods and full breakfast and great coffee.

This is our 3rd time to stay at the Inn at Camachee Harbor and it was the ONLY place my husband & I wanted to stay when we attended the New Year's Eve Roaring 20s Party at a large hotel on the beach this year.

Every room is very comfortable and inviting with an amazing view of the marina. There are three places to eat right there at Camachee Harbor where you can have breakfast and lunch, pizza and calzon es or enjoy a waterfront seafood dinner.

Uber, Lyft and Trolley Tour pickups are available so you don't have to deal with the traffic in St. Augustine's tourist district.

We love staying at the Inn at Camachee Harbor and can't wait to go back!

We were in the Marina at Camachee Harbor on our boat when Nicole was supposed to lash the area, we called the INN and these great folks got us a room for the storm on the second floor.
They made sure were safe and secure and even helped us carry our 3 days worth of food and clothing up to the room.
They left us with a 24 hour number and had to evacuate (local regs. they had to "officially close" ) the room was really nice and well decorated and the fridge /freezer combo held all of our perishables and frozen meat from the boat.
Great room and amazing staff!

We have stayed here many times and highly recommend it to others. My husband and I last visited on the weekend 1/22/2021-1/24/2021. Our family has stayed here as well as just the girls on an outing for a few days. The rooms are owned by individuals and managed by the Inn. Each room is uniquely decorated. Everything is clean and comfortable. We like to get a second floor harborview room as the yachts, sailboats, and fishing boats are such a beautiful sight from the balconies. The rooms often have a porch on the opposite side of the room which looks out over the garden area or the scenic Vilano Bridge. There is the Kingfish Grill next door for seafood lovers, also good food for those who like beef, chicken, etc (ME!) and good drink specials. They have pretty outside seating and live entertainment. On the other side of the Inn is a little shopping center with a yummy, homemade breakfast and lunch cafe and also a pizza restaurant. We often see people jogging or biking along the path alongside the bridge. It is just a few minutes drive to old St. Augustine. We will be back!

Very relaxing, easily accessible place to base out of for a vacation and take in all that St. Augustine has to offer. The Kingfish restaurant food was terrific also! The facilities were in good shape with laundry, pool and staying near the marina was fun too sitting on a deck and watching boats come and go. Lots of fun staying here.

We came by this place by chance over ten years when coming to St. Augustine and at that time, there were very little reviews of the property. It made of concerned. After one stay, we were hooked. You are far enough away where you don't deal with the noise and chaos of the traffic of old town but close enough where you can be there in about five minutes. The rooms are spacious and clean. The balcony's are large and overlooking the marina with great sunsets and beautiful boats to see. There is a small cafe that is perfect for breakfast or coffee in the morning that you can bring to your room. There is also a restaurant about 100' that is also on site. We continue to be amazed that this gem has not been over taken when we show up. Pleasantly amazed I may add.

After reading several reviews on this property, most were favorable, we paid our $507.00 for a 2 night stay and arrived shortly before 6 pm on that Friday. Desk staff was friendly but not at all informed, empowered, or knowledgeable about our questions regarding payments already made through “Booking.com”. Not off to a good start. Our room was somewhat redecorated, except for the bath and vanity area. Both areas were clean but do need a face lift. Confused by the “full kitchen” of pots, pans, bar-b-que utensils, but no stove, we moved on to the lighting of the room. Only light in the main space were two wall mounted lamps between the beds. (Bath areas were brightly lit.). No table lamps, no over head lighting, just the two between the beds. We found the information card for the Wi-Fi and noted that the “info card” is very busy with information, printed in a small font, adding to a person challenged by the poor lighting in the room. Apparently we missed the part on the “info card” directing us to “leave our towels outside our door” if we wanted fresh ones. We returned in the evening after a day out only to find our towels and bathroom amenities had not been replenished. While checking out Sunday morning the front desk was of no help to us regarding our lack of house keeping services and our payment. The woman did tell us that we should have left the towels outside the door, and this information was on the “info card”. Imagine, a hallway full of dirty linens from us and all other guests. The women did let us know that she would “let management know”. I’m not holding my breath for “management” to reach out to us. Through a survey issued from “Costal Reality and Property Management” we discovered that “Costal Reality” offers many other properties for vacation rentals. Having paid too high a price already with little to no service on this property we’re most likely not going to take a chance on other properties managed by them. Unusually I might expect the “management” to reach out to me after a less than favorable review but again, I’m not holding my breath. We took a chance. We gambled. We lost.

Perfectly located between Vilano Beach and downtown St. Augustine with a Publix just over the bridge! We really enjoyed our stay with our room overlooking the marina on one side and Vilano Bridge/the Intercoastal Waterway on the other. Everything was in good repair and we stayed warm during the unseasonably cold weather and cool when the temperature went back up--will definitely come back!

This was our second stay at the Inn. Sheila is a great host with a great personality. Our room had a great view of the harbor and was just a short bicycle ride to the old downtown, which we rode often. The Kingfish Grill, located next door and on the water is a great place to eat some great seafood, sushi, sandwiches and all the other items a good restaurant offers. There is also a really nice cafe in front for breakfast items, coffee and such. The room was clean and comfortable, what else could you ask for! Hopefully we'll be back soon!!

My wife and I were looking for a place to relax and chill during our anniversary that was not cookie cutter like most other offerings. This palce was perfect. we dined at the reasturants within walking distance and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the marina. The staff was very welcoming and attentive and our only regret is that we did not have more time to stay and enjoy.

Hi I was wondering how the Inn at Camachee Harbor came through the hurricane?
Answer from mstwalter
Pentwater, Michigan60 contributions29 helpful votes
I think most of the harbor and dockings, with the boats that were in them, did well. The specific building that is “the Inn at Camachee” sustained some damage. It was mostly related to the angular facade that surrounds the flat roof. Some of that wood was rotten and didn’t hold up well. Some rooms sustained water damage. The water damaged rooms have been nicely repaired. Some of the facade remains damaged and is still awaiting repair and/or replacement.
