Our room was very clean. Staff was great. I felt very safe there. It was conveniently located just across the bridge from downtown (.5 mile) and there were many wonderful restaurants all around the hotel in what people are starting to call " Foodie Row". For the price it was a wonderful stay. Also great showers!!!

There were 4 of us girls renting 2 of the rooms. One room had a "kitchenette" and ours was the typical room layout. The kitchenette was a "tad" better but they said the back of the bathroom door was very dirty and they wouldn't want to cook there. Ours was clean but talk about updating needs. The walls in the... Great location within walking distance to downtown and all the historical areas of St Augustine. It's less than a 15 min drive to the beach.it's less than that to walk across the bridge. ( which is advisable because the Spanish in the 16th century didn't plan on vehicular parking.) The room had a king size bed, WIFI, refrigerator, freezer, microwave,... More

This was the only bad experience I actually have ever had at a hotel. When I arrived I noticed some shady characters that made me feel uncomfortable. I tried to give it a chance. There was a couple near our room that were acting erratically and strange. Several of the guests would just hang outside there rooms like they were... More

If you want a cheap room with a bed, a shower, and a toilet, within walking distance of all of downtown historic St. Augustine's attractions and across the street from 2 fantastic local restaurants, then this is the place for you. My husband and I stayed for 1 night and it was perfect for us. You can't beat the price,... More

My husband and I were planning a trip to St. Augustine and we were looking for a clean, convient and reasonable room and this filled the bill completely! We were able to walk across the Bridge Of Lions to all the tourist attractions, or we ran out to the Lighthouse on morning, several restaurants were nearby, we really liked the... More

For those who don't know. This hotel is 2nd hotel before LIONS bridge (something like that) which is exactly where you want to go to see the sites. We walked from our hotel (the first day) but we are active people and live in Florida's heat so we are used to it. Some people may melt. Watch for tourist rigged... More

Our first time here, and will not be our last. The host, Sam, was very friendly and always had a smile for each of his guests. While the property may be a bit dated on the outside, and the inside, the room was clean and everything worked as it should. The king sized bed was as comfortable as any we've... More

Stayed here for 1 night on our visit to St.Augustine, the location was ideal just over the lIons Bridge, low budget but a warm welcome and the lovely lady running the place was from my home town of Bolton, "small world" clean and free parking a. Bonus. St .Augustine is a lovely scenic place with lots to do jump on... More

Walkable to historic downtown via the Bridge of Lions. It is next to a bar and could turn some people off, worried us a bit at first but things quieted down at a reasonable hour. Rooms are very basic and if you're very picky it may prove not a good choice... but it is called Budget Inn. It was clean... More
