The room was clean and updated. The grounds need lots of work. You could see this used to be a great place to stay. There were two queen beds on was great the other squeaky. Be sure to bring pods for your coffee. I didn't know and brought reg coffee and filters. Close driving to restaurants. I wouldn't return. But i can see they are trying to update the resort.

This place is great! The restaurant is amazing the lounge has live action and it’s near everything! These people bend over backwards to make your trip perfect!! The kitchen is adequate to reheat some leftovers and cook some basic meals. Overall very clean . In full disclosure the units are being updated though they will always be quaint old school Florida units. Full living room , separate bedroom bathroom and kitchenette. In addition there is ample parking and a huge covered porch to hang out under. The grounds are pristine and the pool is great too.Highly recommend!!

Room #2 in the original 4-room motel built in 1946 and it is soo cool! Great restaurant and marina bar on the water is over-the-top an awesome place to stay. We stayed for two nights while visiting St. Augustine amphitheater for a rock concert and we were only 1.5 miles away. We felt like we were on the set of I love Lucy. The place is quaint and cozy and we love the nice pool surrounded by tropical foliage. We have already booked three nights in October 2022!

I wanted to write a recent review since there were a few negatives here about the resort needing work. The place is gorgeous, and clearly updated. (Photos included). The room is designed for comfort. The beds are comfy, and the bathroom has the largest shower I’ve had at a hotel. Everything is for convenience- from the top notch coffee station, to the remote control to control the thermostat. I don’t smoke, but it’s nice having chairs outside your door with an ashtray provided. The pool is 12 steps from my room. The restaurant (beautiful water views), is not much farther. The front desk check in was flawless. Truly the perfect place to relax, or to go to the many nearby sites.

I don’t normally have the time to write reviews but this one really needed it. We usually have a tough time as a young family of 7. With 5 kids under 9, we don’t usually feel welcomed at restaurants but the conch house was amazing and so welcoming to us. The manager got right on seating us way sooner than we deserved, he was kind and so interactive with our kids and they went above and beyond for us. Food was excellent. I’m a huge foodie and very picky, I was impressed. The kids meals were huge and cheap. We sat in one of the huts and it was the most relaxing place ever. We watched dolphins, fish and cool crabs from above and enjoyed our time thoroughly. I could have stayed there all day.

We traveled the last week of March 2022 chose this establishment because there weren't any rooms available in the old town area. At first glance, cute place. Staff was courteous. However, the interior of the room was unacceptable. View the photos to understand what the room looked like. Housekeeping is non-existent. In the morning we took COLD showers, not by choice. When we checked out, my husband did tell the front desk that we had absolutely no hot water. Also, water pressure was a small trickle. All the clerk asked was which room were we in. Management needs to take a closer look as to how the property is being maintained. A sign in the kitchen states that the kitchen and bathroom are circa 1930 original and display the charm of the era. Fine, display the charm of the '30"s but keep it clean and replace worn and damaged items.

There’s a restaurant and then a bar and deck out over the water . BOTH are part of the same organization, yet the bar doesn’t serve food Or allow you to order food from the restaurant , go get it yourself , and bring it to your table . They are cutting their own throat . Stupid !

This is our second time staying here and we love the location which is at a large marina. Nice restaurant and bar area out on the docks. Nice pool area. The motel is older but fairly well maintained. Our room #7 had newly redone bath which was very nice. Rooms are fairly large and beds were good. My main complaint is that the blinds on windows allow way too much light at night. Great need for blackout curtains as many outside lights remain on all night. Difficult to sleep. Also need to add a sitting chair in room. Only place to sit is on bed or wood stool at table area.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday 10 16 and had drinks at the indoor bar and bill was 16 and at the outdoor bar it was 20 Normally it is 2 dollars off per drink for happy hour starting at 4 pm Either the outdoor bar is different or the bar tenders (male) is making extra money
