Let me start with this. If you are looking for a 5 star, luxury butlered B and B with Frette linens and a 3 course tea service in a spotless luxury mansion - this is not the place for you. I will never understand why people book a sweet local B and B and then whine and b*tch about the imperfections. Sevilla House was built in the 1860’s! It is charm personified, as are its hosts!

This is a lovely little local spot within walking distance to everything in historic St. Augustine. The hosts, Sunny and Roma are sweet, accommodating, and absolutely delightful. They work their tails off - and it shows. If they “throw you out” it is probably because you were rude and disrespectful and deserved it (and then you go onto trip advisor under two different names just to trash them. That’s classy. And shows why they probably needed to throw you out.)

This was our 5th visit to this little spot. And we have had nothing but a great time each time. Breakfasts are tailored to the individual and served fresh, within minutes. The coffee and fresh juice keep being poured, bedding is always comfy and clean, and the vibe makes you feel like you’re home with family. And after 5 visits? We ARE!

The home, rooms and bathrooms and public spaces, is showing its age. Again, however, that is the charm of an 1860’s bed and breakfast. Perfect stucco with a sterile hotel environment? Hit the Hilton. Cozy, friendly home where you’re greeted like family? Sevilla House with Sunny and Roma is perfection.

My wife got us 2 nights here as my Christmas present. The place is an old house within walking distance to the downtown action in a cute district with other homes. The building is very nice in the way it looks and feels, and is both comfortable and quaint.

Our room was pretty large with a queen bed, en suite, and a fireplace (I assume it was not working, but don't know). It was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast comes with the room and is served in the dining room. While much more limited than a hotel restaurant, it offered more choices than other B&Bs I have stayed in. The food was excellent and plentiful.

The only drawback was the hot water. The shower took over 10 minutes (no exaggeration) to get to the room, which forced us to do a bit more planning than we wanted to, especially on the first morning.

BUT the best part was the manager, Sunny, and his wife, who were hands on and very attentive. They are originally Indians but have resided in the US a long time. What a great couple! They saw to our every need and pampered us as if we were visiting royalty. His name, Sunny, was perfect as he always had a big smile on his face and was one of the most interesting and agreeable people I have met in a long time. Seriously, the stay was worth it alone to have met these wonderful people. But go for the entire package- house, room and management. Just be prepared for a long wait for hot water!

What a lovely little Bed and Breakfast run by a charming family. My daughter and I stayed at the Sevilla House for a short one night stay. The location allowed us to quickly walk to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants in the historic district. I loved the Victorian feel of the house, antique furniture and the lovingly tended garden. I had read most of the reviews for this B&B before booking so had a pretty good idea what to expect. For those reviews that were negative all I have to say is that those people must not frequent Bed & Breakfasts. For me it is about the ambiance and meeting people. The Sevilla house is over 100 years old and is obviously well cared for by this family. Though some of the bathroom fixtures show wear- I never felt anything was unclean. If you want sparkling new and lots of charging outlets everywhere you turn, then this historic home is not for you. But if you would like to feel the ambiance of Old St Augustine, good location, a clean and charming room, a delicious breakfast, and supporting a hard working family- then the Historic Sevilla House is for you.

The location and parking are the best features. We were able to walk to the major points of interest. This historic house needs a lot more upkeep, especially painting of walls and trim. The door to our room was also difficult to open/close because it scraped the floor. Breakfast was a huge disappointment as we have stayed at many B&Bs here and abroad, and breakfast was not well presented. A slice of toast was tossed on top of the plate of eggs/sausage/pancake; large containers of honey or ketchup if requested were put on the table and then taken to other tables as needed, not individually served. Silverware needs to be replaced - it's of poor quality and we were given salad forks to eat with! We would choose another B&B if in St. Augustine again, as there are many to choose from.

We were given a night stay at the Historic Sevilla House in St. Augustine by our daughter. We arrived in the afternoon and were pleasantly greeted by the owners. My daughter had requested a room on the first floor due to my knee replacement but we were given a room upstairs. After signing in I was given a half sheet of paper that I didn't look at until we were in our room. It was a typed message stating that "there is no meal option with this room". Later when I asked the owner about this she said they weren't serving breakfast. No explanation.

The BnB, a lovely old house still decorated for Christmas is in a good location, walkable distance from many attractions. Our room was spacious, with a king bed, small bathroom and a sun porch. The room was very clean and tidy but unfortunately
we found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were rock hard.

Upon checking out I asked the gentleman when they had stopped serving breakfast and was told December 15th when the cook left.
Their website states they are a bed and breakfast and does not inform potential guests that breakfast is not be currently served.

After arriving home and relating our experience to our daughter, she called and spoke to him advising she had spoken to him twice before our arrival and was never advised that breakfast is no longer being served. He told her she received an email that included a statement that 'the deluxe king room did not include breakfast"!

We have stayed in a number of excellent B&B's in St. Augustine and suggest that travellers looking for an enjoyable stay in this lovely city look elsewhere than Historic Sevilla House. To present this property as a bed and breakfast at this time is deceptive.

Found out 10 minutes after I booked the hotel through booking.com that I was unable to stay in St. Augustine for the night. Booking.com’s policy said to call or email the hotel directly to explain the situation. I notified booking.com who sent an email and also called the hotel and they refused to refund me a single penny for a hotel room booked at 5pm for that night that I never even used. The staff at the inn was extremely rude, dismissive and condescending. I highly recommend not dealing with the awful service here that I encountered just over the phone. I can’t even imagine how terrible the service is in person if I had actually stayed there.

We arrived after driving across the state in bad weather. We arrived earlier than check in, but, later than my estimated eta.
The owner, Sunny, interrupted his lunch to check us in & give us our parking pass.
We were presented with a delicious breakfast each morning at 9am & were offered choices as to what we wanted. Sunny remembered every guest's preference..this says alot!
We were able to purchase trolley and attraction tickets through Sunny's wife, saving time at the trolley or attractions.
They were very accommodating & we look forward to staying with them again.

Owner is easy to work with. Had to make arrangements to prepay everything for my son and his gf’s arrival and everything went smooth as silk. Met them for breakfast and was delighted with Sevilla House. The location is close enough to walk to all attractions and far enough away that tourists aren’t constantly parading by. Parking is private and so much more accommodating than other B&Bs in town. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Son and gf really enjoyed it. Decor is charming. Owner is helpful, kind, and very hospitable. We found a new favorite!

This home is not only beautiful but the couple who runs the B and B are fantastic! It is a quiet very friendly place to stay. The owners cater to you in every way. Close to all the historic attractions; within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and the room is fully stocked with wine water and soda. 24 hour snack and coffee station also equipped with a microwave. This is the place to stay if you are visiting st Augustine!

This B & B is located in the Historic District making for an easy walk to all restaurants and attractions. The owners/hosts are lovely and helpful. The room was quaint and sparkling clean while maintaining an old-world charm. You'll want to bring up the hot water at the sink before showering -- if you require more perfection go to a sterile hotel : ) We will return next year.
