Kristyn loving personality great food service on par.would absolutely go there again excellant visit.would suggest of moving ice machine to a different location.loved my stay in saint Augstine great breakfast beauitful city.
This is where my husband and I spent our wedding night. It was beautiful! The service was great, breakfast was delicious and the room was so comfortable. It was conveniently located downtown, after our night out it was a short walk back to our room.
The Inn is a beautiful old two story restored home with a wonderful front porch. The breakfasts are delicious, with coffee, wine and cookies available all day. However, the room service could have been better. We had to ask for clean towels and sheets every day. Not sure if this is customary at a B&B. Hotels gives the customer both every day. We would stay there again and also find out the rules for the towels and sheets. The location is great, within walking distance to St George Street shopping and there is your own designated parking space.
Great location Good breakfast Free parking Room was extremely small No closet , no chest of drawers or any way to hang clothes or put clothes in a drawer strictly had to work out of a suitcase…. had to get hangers from a stranger from another room.. charged a daily cleaning fee of $15 but unless you tell them you need your room cleaned on a daily basis they will not do it they came to clean the room the first day I assume they were coming the second but did not. We were still charged the $15 per day upfront Not to mention, they were doing a complete renovation of the room below us, which was extremely noisy.
Stayed at this B&B for two nights. The location is perfect if you want easy walking access to the fort and the historic downtown. We don't usually stay in the heart of things, but really enjoyed the easy access provided to everything we wanted to see. The Inn is an historic house, but has been nicely updated. We stayed in the Diamond Lil room and had plenty of space for a two night stay, with very little time spent in the room. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower with mutliple jets; counter space is small, but workable. The bed was comfy with nice bedding, although not my favorite mattress, it was fine. The have a lovely dining room for breakfast, a nice sitting room, and a nice front porch. My husband and I aren't really breakfast people. We did eat breakfast the first day and they did a nice job. You can hear other guests from your room as they enter/leave, but overall the room was quiet. We were there during a non-busy time, so I don't know what it would be like if the streets were more lively. The staff was very friendly, and very eager to make your stay enjoyable.…
We booked the entire Inn on Charlotte for our company retreat from 1/18-1/21/2023. We had an amazing stay at Inn on Charlotte. The staff were attentive, the Inn was clean, and Moses made sure that our entire team were happy with their rooms and their breakfast/snacks during our stay. I would definitely recommend. The Inn is in a prime location, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and bars in historic St. Augustine. We will certainly be back.
Overall, not happy with our stay. We had the Rawlings' Bungalow (Queen) which was very small (barely enough room to layout a suitcase on the floor). Also, the floor of the room was FILTHY...my feet were black after 5 minutes and it felt grimy!! See pic below. The fire extinguisher fell off the wall in the bathroom during the middle of the night. The bathroom soap dispenser didn't work at all. I told an employee on during check out about the issues and still have yet to receive any acknowledgment of our issues from the Inn All that said, it was a great location. Our assigned parking spot was a short walk, maybe 1 min, which was nice. We probably would not stay here again due to our experience.
I had booked this stay on the way home from my BIL funeral. We were so looking forward to getting there! Unfortunately, my grandchildren gave us the flu! We missed the funeral and did not make it to St. Augustine. When I called to explain the situation and see if we could get any kind of refund or come another time, I was told there were absolutely no refunds or credits for a future stay. I called and spoke with them three times, but to no avail ! So my review is “DISAPPOINTED”, that there was no understanding, empathy etc. for our situation. I also had 2 nights in Cape Canaveral for the funeral and was very happy how understanding the national brand was and gracious in giving us a full refund for our non refundable reservation. Thinking this is a privately owned Inn, I was just hoping for a little more understanding. …
My good friend and I had a visit there on our bucket list. The Inn was lovely , hosts very accommodating, room wonderful and breakfast to die for. It was close to everything. Only minus was the stairs to our room. If you could get one on the first floor I would advise it.
We loved staying here at the Inn on Charlotte. Driving down the small streets to stepping inside the front door was like going back in time. The service was great and it was a really easy check in. The room was so cute and well decorated and clean! Breakfast was amazing both mornings! The Inn was within walking distance of so many great restaurants, bars and little stores. Definitely an awesome place to visit and stay!
