Spent 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend and just loved the place. Spent hours swinging on the porch just watching the world go by. The Inn was a short walk to all the restaurants that we wanted to experience. The owners are great people! We will sure miss the scrumptious breakfast each morning. Will be making reservations for the nights of lights this winter. Absolutely highly recommend!!

Property's Favorite Review
If you enjoy historical architecture, Victorian charm and southern hospitality this B&B is for you! Suzanne was a most gracious host during our stay and was very responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed the outdoor veranda overlooking the historic district and onsite free parking. Our room was very clean and cute and stocked with all of the essentials. The breakfast was delicious baked eggs Benedict and fresh fruit with homemade pastry! The Old Powder House is an excellent value and we hope to return.

Suzanne and Bob outdid themselves welcoming their first guests after our collective quarantine. Warm and welcoming, they made us feel like we were family. And Bob is quite the cook. Our favorite part of the inn was the 2nd floor veranda tucked behind the trees and overlooking the street. A great place to enjoy a drink or read a great book. We did both!

Let me start off by saying I looked and read and researched bed & breakfast in Jacksonville, St Augustine, and Savannah. Obviously, we ended up choosing the Old Powder House Inn for our elopement and honeymoon stay - the location is perfect. Words cannot express how happy and perfect everything was from the cozy room (Memories), to the deliciously created breakfasts, the relaxing veranda with porch swing, our elopement ceremony, and the general atmosphere of the Inn. Bob is the most kind and welcoming person we have ever met. He really made us feel comfortable and relaxed even though I, myself, was a nervous bride to be. We could not have asked for a better ceremony. Rae Hughes was our officiate and she made our ceremony so special and so personal. Bob took so many photos at all different angles, he really did a wonderful job at capturing our special moments. There is not one thing we would have changed. We look forward to making many more memories at the Old Powder House Inn!

My finance and I eloped to the Powered House Inn, and must say Bob and Suzanne and Beverly were the most gracious and perfect host we could of ever dreamed of. The experience, as special as it was to us, was made very special and memorable. The Inn is both quaint and romantic, along with being in the perfect location to enjoy the everything the city has to offer. The breakfast and atmosphere was perfect, gourmet dining and great company. The ceremony took place in the garden, followed by a wonderful carriage around the city to a fabulous restaurant. The weekend was absolutely perfect, and all the thanks goes to our host. They paid particular attention to every detail making it not only easy, but perfect. Thanks for everything! Bill and Susan
