This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast. We absolutely loved it. This place is so clean and cozy. We had a room that faced the road and you could sit on the balcony and people watch. Suzanne and Bob were so welcoming and sweet. We will definitely be back.

I believe that to own a Bed & Breakfast you have to have "IT" in your heart and owners, Bob & Suzanne definitely have IT! They are genuinely kind and caring. From the moment you're met at the door you get a warm welcome. We stayed in room 6 Serenity. It's upstairs with a verandah facing the street. There's a king size bed with a private bathroom with shower (no bathtub). On the verandah there's chairs, tables, a porch swing, a refrigerator with soda, water, cheese & smoked sausage. There's also some board games to play. There was some street noise but it didn't bother us. There is also a mini coffee/tea bar with a little sink & a mini fridge. Also a carafe of sherry if you so choose to have a night cap. Shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, lotion all provided. There's also a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, television and a window unit a/c that you control the temperature. Besides the amazing hosts, the food was incredible!!! The 1st day we had watermelon salad with feta & mint from their garden - how cool is that?! There was also apple cinnamon cake and the main course was a deconstructed eggs benedict. Delicious! The 2nd morning we had mango/pineapple salad, banana bread and the main course was peach & cream cheese stuffed french toast. Unbelievably amazing and beautifully presented. Fresh orange juice and coffee served, too. This place is EVERYTHING one would want in a Bed and Breakfast! There is much love and pride put into this wonderful establishment.

Spent 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend and just loved the place. Spent hours swinging on the porch just watching the world go by. The Inn was a short walk to all the restaurants that we wanted to experience. The owners are great people! We will sure miss the scrumptious breakfast each morning. Will be making reservations for the nights of lights this winter. Absolutely highly recommend!!

Suzanne and Bob outdid themselves welcoming their first guests after our collective quarantine. Warm and welcoming, they made us feel like we were family. And Bob is quite the cook. Our favorite part of the inn was the 2nd floor veranda tucked behind the trees and overlooking the street. A great place to enjoy a drink or read a great book. We did both!

You may not of noticed it, but Bob and I were living vicariously through the two of you. It was so much fun to see you enjoying yourselves on the veranda. Next time we have a few moments.... well, you can guess where we'll be. Come back soon.

Let me start off by saying I looked and read and researched bed & breakfast in Jacksonville, St Augustine, and Savannah. Obviously, we ended up choosing the Old Powder House Inn for our elopement and honeymoon stay - the location is perfect. Words cannot express how happy and perfect everything was from the cozy room (Memories), to the deliciously created breakfasts, the relaxing veranda with porch swing, our elopement ceremony, and the general atmosphere of the Inn. Bob is the most kind and welcoming person we have ever met. He really made us feel comfortable and relaxed even though I, myself, was a nervous bride to be. We could not have asked for a better ceremony. Rae Hughes was our officiate and she made our ceremony so special and so personal. Bob took so many photos at all different angles, he really did a wonderful job at capturing our special moments. There is not one thing we would have changed. We look forward to making many more memories at the Old Powder House Inn!

Bob had tears in his eyes during your entire ceremony. It's always super special for us to be witnessing such a special moment. He a perfectionist and wants to capture the most precious expressions on your faces. It's once in a lifetime.
