We enjoyed everything about our two night stay at the Kenwood Inn. Pat makes you feel like she is welcoming old friends to her lovely and comfortable home. Be sure to read her biography in the notebook in your room. You will understand her professional attention to details. Here is what we loved: big, comfortable room with antique furniture; beautiful modern bathroom, jacuzzi tub, shower; sitting area on the porch outside of your room, homemade cookies and wine at 5 pm in the sitting room-a neighbor came in and played the piano for us!; a delicious 2-course breakfast featuring crepes topped with vanilla rum sauce and frozen pistachio yogurt, vegetable omelet and salsa accompanied by a petit potato wrapped in bacon; eggs Benedict; sweet bread; cherry cobbler topped with whipped cream; orange juice; delicious coffee. Breakfast was served by friendly wait staff on the patio next to the lovely coy pond and the sound of a little waterfall. Around the corner from the outdoor dining is a beautiful swimming pool where we spent some time soaking up the afternoon sun. The Inn contains many comfortable sitting areas filled with family pictures. Parking is a short walk from the Inn as is St George Street-the pedestrian shopping area. Everything that you want to see in Old Town-the waterfront, the fort, restaurants, the Bridge of Lions, the Cathedral, Flagler College, Lightner Museum, ghost walks, etc is within easy walking distance. You will love your stay at the Kenwood Inn.

Property's Favorite Review
What a great place to stay. The Kenwood fits perfectly into the history and experience of St. Augustine. Pat and her staff are inviting, attentive, and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and perfect for a long weekend getaway without feeling like you are in a typical hotel. The whole place a incredibly clean while maintaining old world charm and details. The pool and grounds are not only beautiful and well maintained but inviting and relaxing. Don't pass up the daily breakfast as it is fresh and unique and a great way to start your day. Just remember it is only served from 8:30-9:30. The waitstaff was super polite and attentive! The daily cookies were also a nice touch. Location wise, we couldn't ask for better. We were just far enough away to avoid most noise but close enough that nothing was more than a ten minute walk. Having parking available was a lifesaver as it is at a premium on the streets, especially during busy periods. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back again!

Thank you Brian for your detailed and thoughtful comments. We very much appreciate you pointing out our attention to detail ... and as you say, while maintaining old world charm. We couldn't agree more on our location - so convenient to everything yet our neighborhood is quiet and inviting. I'm just about to make some more cookies. Do you have a favorite? Stay well and we'll see you soon.

We loved the Kenwood. If we were to come back to St. Augustine this would be my # 1 choice. Pat and Martha were great. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The Elizabeth room. Breakfast on the patio was wonderful. Evening glass of wine was a very nice touch. Location was walkable to the entire city. Free parking off site but close by was available.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The room was beautiful, the breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff at the Inn were friendly and welcoming. The inn made traveling with dogs easy. We enjoyed our own fenced in porch attached to our room.
