This Hotel needs total improvement of staff. First battle was to reschedule due to inability to visit the hospital where my brother was in critical care. I was informed they would keep the deposit. I rebooked 2 rooms for family to visit my brother. The room was not cleaned day 2 due to the rumor spread from the front desk that I had the corona virus 19. Daily confusion that I was no longer a guest, although I clearly booked 3 days. After 3 days I checked out telling them that my brother had passed. The final straw was when the lady behind the desk informed me that I had another day booked, which I did not. I will leave it to any visitors to make their own judgements on staff and cleanliness. The location and pool are nice. The General Manager did call to try and explain some issues. I will never return to this hotel.

Just checked in tonight and I have to give a shout out to Genesis at the front desk. She is extremely polite and helpful, going above and beyond every time I asked for help. I couldn’t find the ice machine and instead of just pointing me in the right direction like most people would, she straight up walked me to the ice machine to make sure I found it, then made sure I knew how to get back to my room. I travel almost constantly for work and almost live out of hotels, I wish every hotel had someone like Genesis. The room is also AMAZING. Genesis made sure to help us out with getting an awesome view, overlooking both the pool AND the harbor. I’m very much looking forward to an extremely relaxing stay for the weekend. THANK YOU GENESIS

Quite frankly, a 3 star review is a compliment that I don't really think this place truly deserves. We booked a girl's getaway for 3 days in a Deluxe room. I will let you be the judge of the Deluxe accommodations based on the pictures that I took. They call this place historic... it's definitely that, but it is also a rundown property with what seems like super poor upkeep and maintenance. In addition to being overpriced, the service leaves much to desire and certainly not what I have expected. Food at the Fountain Grill was horrible.. service throughout is not so very unfriendly. If you ask the staff a question they answer with an attitude and make it sound like they are doing you a favor.. However, staff and the food by the pool were great. SPA services were good, but also overpriced for what you get. The rooms... I can't even.. disgusting.. we had to clean our room upon arrival ourselves just to make sure we could stay in it. Wifi sucks.. and I get that this is a SPA and you should not be on your phone but for those that wanted to be be able to connect to the world outside, you had to rely on your mobile network. Plugs in the room are straight up dangerously lose , some with exposed wires.. this place needs a major overhaul and then some.. in all areas.. There are better choices available.. don't be fooled by the historical image they try to sell you on.. find somewhere else to stay where $250 per night would be worth it...

Excellent location in a small, quaint town. Great facilities with the spa and workout areas. The food is good but a bit pricey. Very convenient to the Phillies Spring Training facility. Nice views of the bay. I'll be back next year.
