Stayed in an RV space through our thousand trails membership. The site was on the smaller side and the ground was mostly sand and dirt which was an absolute mess when it rained the last day we were there. Made our pack up pretty miserable. Our site also backed up against a main road which was a little noisy. The staff were great, from the ladies in the office to the maintenance guy who showed us to our spot- he was so friendly and kind and we appreciated him! The pool was nice and the seasonal residents we met during our stay were all very friendly and kind and welcoming! Was about 30-40 minutes to the Kennedy space center which was our main reason for visiting. Overall, not a bad resort in a pretty nice area.
Nice park with lots of activities and amenities. Sites a bit close but no more so than most other parks of this type. Was very well maintained and clean. Great laundry facilities. Near shopping, beaches, parks and restaurants. We would go there again. Long term sites and cabins were well maintained.
We recently vacationed in Florida and stayed at three campgrounds prior to Space Coast RV Resort. FYI, the closest beach to this place is a 33 minute drive. Our campsite was D4, a pull though near the center of the campground. There was a very large live oak tree hovering over our entire site, shedding acorns not only by the wind, but by the multiple squirrels running through harvesting them. We did not sleep any of the three nights during our stay due to the sound of acorns hitting the top of our camper throughout the night. Not to mention, the acorns fell all over our truck and covered the picnic table and all belongings left outside. There are many campsites on the premises that have live Oaks, just like this site and we heard other campers having similar issues. We believe we should’ve been forewarned by staff of this issue before accepting the site, so we could make our own decision to stay under these conditions. We can’t imagine having stayed another day, it was awful! The issue was brought to the attention by staff and they merely said, “thanks for letting us know.” We would definitely not recommend this campground.…
Very much enjoyed my stay at Space Coast RV Park. Very quiet and well kept. Friendly people staying around me. Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before and will return when traveling in the area.
Maureen and every other staff person we met while staying at Space Coast RV Resort greeted us with a smile. They were all professionals, so concerned for our happiness. Driving in and seeing the PICKET FENCES, well proportioned sites, just gives off a calming and happy feeling. We even extended our stay for several days. Thanks everyone.
