We just got home from staying nine nights at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island. This is a wonderful hotel everything was kept immaculately clean from the pool area to the bathrooms to the restaurant. As a full-time Florida resident I was happy to see at the hotel does not have any mask restrictions and that they have not bowed down to any kind of out of state pressure to implement them. The food at the 3800 restaurant is wonderful, the only thing better is the view of the ocean. The only negative if you could call it one is that you must valet park your car and it runs over $30 a night so be prepared for some extra spending money to tip the guys every time you want your car, other than that the service is wonderful the hotel rooms are spacious clean and super comfortable I would stay here again in a second.

We are currently here. The rooms are very nice, the pools are very nice. The beach is beautiful. However. They absolutely need to reduce the $35 per night resort fee because many services are not being offered right now. They have 4 bikes. That’s right. 4 bikes for the entire hotel and 1 helmet. I called two days before our trip and asked about helmets and they told them they had them. They do not. The bikes are also for adults. None for kids. They are not providing beach service for foods and drinks “because we don’t have enough help.” We were not told that on our way down to the beach. My husband raised his beach flag for service and waited 30 minutes before walking up to ask what was going on. Surf boards and paddleboards have not been available. They said due to wave conditions even though it has been green flag conditions. I haven’t heard anything about the kids club or their activities. I don’t even know where it is. I would have liked to be given all of the resort information upon check in. Complimentary drinks are only offered from 4-5 so don’t miss it! The pool side and beach food and beverage service close at 5:00 making evening beverages, snacks, and meals challenging. It would be be 4-4.5 stars if the daily fee was lowered OR they just provided the services advertised.

Dear MADAngelo, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience at our resort. Your feedback is very important to us and I will make sure that your concerns will be addressed. We are currently working on getting additional equipment for our resort, that includes new bikes and additional beach equipment. This was my second time at this hotel and it has gone downhill. The good: Location still fantastic. Concierge is very helpful. And the beach crew work very hard to set up your chairs and umbrellas. The two bedroom suites are still very spacious with excellent ocean views. The bad: The rooms were showing significant wear and tear. The pocket doors to the ensuite kept falling off the railing. The furniture was very dinged up. The elevators had buttons missing for certain floors. Overall the rooms are dated. I was told that the hotel is scheduled for renovations and they can’t come soon enough. There is no longer any service on the beach to deliver your food and drink. That was one of my favorite perks of this hotel. The ugly: Some staff did not take mask requirements seriously at all. In particular, one bartender would simply wear his mask as a chin strap in utter defiance of the hotel’s mask policy. I’d like to come back. But I may wait until the renovations are completed.

Dear ELCW11, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It is great to hear that you enjoyed our location and the spacious rooms and I appreciate your kind words regarding our concierge and beach team. I apologize the challenges that you encountered with the dated room and service. It is correct that we are planning a complete renovation for next June and we are very excited to present a fresh new look once the work is complete. We are also starting the beach service for food and drinks again so that our guests can enjoy the beach to the fullest. I hope we will be able to welcome you back in the near future and provide you with the great service that you have come to expect.

This was a fabulous hotel. From the minute you walk in the lobby (that was the best smelling lobby I’ve ever encountered) and are greeted warmly by the front desk you know you will be taken care of. The staff was amazing, everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to provide amazing service. The hotel was beautiful, gorgeous lobby with a lovely courtyard with a fountain and fire pits at night. Our king suite was huge, tastefully decorated. Full kitchen, washer/dryer (so important for wet bathing suits), big balcony, bathroom with shower and soaking tub, massive closet with storage space. Everything was modern and fresh and well done. Check in was a breeze for us, we even got to check in early, but I did notice that the check in lines started to pile up during busy times. It’s a resort and there are so many activities to do on site, but nothing beats being steps away from the beach and crystal blue waters. There’s a coral reef for some amazing snorkeling. Two beautiful pools. Amazing views. You could spend a week at the resort and not leave the grounds. Yes there is a $35 daily resort fee but it covers wifi, beach activities, chair service on the beach, nightly adult beverages in the lobby, bottled water. To me, it was worth every penny. If you wanted to leave, there is plenty nearby (thanks to the amazing concierge staff for all their help). I was worried that we did not rent a car, but we did not need one (and skipped the huge daily parking fee). There is a little shopping center with casual restaurants and a Wings beach shop. That is a 15 minute walk away. And the island was very quiet and I felt extremely safe walking at night. A quick Uber drive away is the amazing shopping in Palm Beach (Worth Avenue and Rosemary Square are a must), Jupiter Island (Guabanas restaurant was a highlight of the trip), and Sailfish Marina. There are sunset cruises that offer door to door shuttle service to the marina. This location really gave us best of all worlds... lazy beach mornings, fancy shopping, boat rides. I debated this hotel vs all the other options on the island. From what I’ve seen, this resort is night and day superior to all others on the island. Just walking into the lobby of the Hilton next door made me so happy I chose the Marriot. Yes, if you have the budget go to Breakers. But if you’re looking for family style luxury, this was the perfect balance of casual and chic. My complaints are very minor, and don’t detract from the five star rating. I wish there were more dining options onsite (3800 Ocean is not as nice as they think they are and way overpriced). And the water activities provided with the resort fee sound better on paper than reality. The reality is that the amount you can use is limited to 2 hours a day and most days the equipment was all rented out. So bring your own snorkel and boogie boards (or purchase at nearby Wings beach shop) if you are looking to do water activities because if not you will be frustrated. But, all in all, this was one of our best family vacations. The location was perfect, service was amazing and we were able to fill our week with so many different types of activities and experiences.

We arrived to an odd location, not a normal Marriott experience. The check in desk was small, not what one would expect for a large hotel, or resort. Luckily there were no queues, it would have been a very long wait. Check in staff were good, friendly, no issues at all. In our group were two mums, one dad, and 5 kids (ages - 14,11,11,10,8) We headed over to the kids pool area (the main reason we selected this hotel venue). The whole area was very inferior looking. Small pool area, slide was not too bad, the surroundings seemed very drab, and didn't seem clean at all. The bar looked half stocked, the service was slow. No one greeted us with a smile, we didnt feel welcome at all, we felt like we were a burden to the few staff that were there. We had to try and clean the table ourselves, there was dirty water on the floor area by the bar, where the tables are, some of this was spoilt drink, that we had to ask someone to clean up. Food came fairly fast, but was worse than a fast food place for quality. Trash bags left out by the bin. no one handing out pool towels (they were hidden, so we had to grab them ourselves). The kids complained that the pool water was freezing - this is disgraceful, you are saving money on not heating the pool! Pool bar shut at 6pm, along with slide, and waterfall. So bad. You have to pay for beach lounge - cheapskate hotel! The rooms are actually very good, and worthy of the price. If you just need to stay in the room, and you dont need to use their restaurants, or kids pool then you will be fine. For us, basically we will never come back, nor could i recommend this. Far superior hotels 45 mins south.
