I was a little nervous to travel due to covid and was put at ease how respectful everyone was at the resort was to the mask mandates and safety protocols. Everything was clean, sanitized, the service staff esp the guys on the beach were amazing. Our suite had a kitchen, we didn't really use it but if you have a family and you are staying for more than a few days it is very convenient to make small meals. The facilities and pools were very nice, the gym was a good size, and there were plenty of watersports to partake in. The concierge helped us out getting Covid testing for the trip back and got us a great taxi who brought us there and back. If you have concerns about covid protocols this place is the place to go, very professional and service-oriented. The restaurant was great too.…
We just returned from 6 nights at the Marriott Singer Island. We really had a great stay, I can'[t say enough about the service from every are of the resort- bell team, front desk, waterfront, housekeeping, restaurants and maintenance. Any request we had was immediately attended to. The property is really nice with everything you could want and the beach is beautiful! Highly recommend!!
Just at airport and had to write a review. This hotel and its staff is A+. Traveling in a pandemic is quite different but this hotel and staff did everything in their power to make sure you had a perfect trip. Initially i was a bit concerned that the room is only serviced every 7th day. It turned out to be just fine. You just have to call down foe whatever you need and it’s brought immediately to your room. The location is right on the beach. Can’t wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful 4 days.
Pros: Excellent staff and service. Good sized, clean room with kitchenette, washer, dryer, a walk in closet and a large marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. (1.5 bathrooms would be better, just a suggestion) Cons: No ocean front hotel rooms (“ocean view” rooms have a partial view), you lose your beach setup if away for more than an hour without informing the staff. Limited menu at the restaurant. The following is a more descriptive review: COVID 19; Masks are required. All staff and guests appeared to be complying. Most guests were considerate and did not crowd the elevators with a few, mostly adolescent, exceptions. On site Covid tests were available. No room service and no daily housekeeping due to COVID. (But we were promptly provided with clean towels and linen when we requested them. Check in: We got there at 4 pm. Check in was fast. Staff (Front desk, Valet and Bell service) were efficient and friendly. The Room: We stayed in 1 bedroom condominium with a king bed and sofa bed. The room featured a balcony with “ocean view”. This is a partial view and not ocean facing. There are no ocean front hotel rooms only private residences. The room was clean. It had a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, stove top, Keurig coffeemaker, toaster and dish washer. The kitchen was fully stocked, however tea and coffee were not provided in the room. There was a washer and dryer. The room had a walk in closet. Bathroom: The room had 1 marble bathroom with a single sink. Had a separate shower and a bathtub. The Beach: 2 beach loungers are included with the stay. Extra loungers can be rented for additional charge. Loungers are assigned on first come first serve basis. Must be at the beach between 8:30 - 9:00 to be in the front row. You lose your spot if away from the loungers for more than an hour without informing the staff. So I couldn’t reserve a set in the front row I. morning then leave and come back with my family around noon, which is what I have done in the past at other resorts (they like to sleep in on vacations) There are limited beach toys for kids to borrow. Restaurants: 1 onsite restaurant and a Starbucks. I thought the menu at the restaurant was quite limited (possibly due to COVID?) and therefore, even though we had breakfast included in our room rate we used our breakfast vouchers just once. Mainly we got meals delivered by Uber and Door Dash. I don’t drink so can’t comment on the hotel and beachside bar. There was a special new years dinner available for reservation. Activities: infinity pool, lagoon pool with water slide for kids, ping pong, Jenga, bean toss, beach volleyball. Staff: Every single staff member was very friendly and welcoming particularly the staff at the beach. …
Have you ever been to a resort where every single employee goes out of their way to make your stay wonderful? We enjoyed the company of Zabaer at the bar. He made my daughter feel specia.l and made her laugh out loud many times. Rigal for being very helpful. Jordan for making us feel welcome. We really enjoyed the Christmas dinner at 3800 Ocean. It was top notch and delicious. We had a fabulous evening. It was served family style. Everyone wore masks and practiced social distancing. Housekeeping could use a bit of improvement. Managers here are so friendly and willing to help. We had a little snag and one of the managers made sure to take care of it right away. We were very happy with the improvements. We met Matias and his family and he was always a smiling face and willing to help every day. We would return. Santa came in a sleigh on the beach. We did crafts in the collonade room as it was only 57 F outside. They thought of everything.…
