The McFarland House is a grand Bed & Breakfast in Quincy Florida, just west of Tallahassee. So beautiful. Quaint. Quiet, A grand porch to sit on and sip on some tea or coffee or a tall glass of lemonade. And it sits in the heart of 36 blocks of the most beautiful old historic homes and buildings...old southern mansions.

We've stayed here every year for several years now on our way to central Florida. Comfortable beds & beautiful home. We've stayed in a couple of different rooms & have had a good night's sleep every time. The breakfast is simply incredible -- delicious & filling. Richard is such a gracious host & so accommodating. My husband is not much...

A truly beautiful home lovingly and beautifully restored set among a cluster of handsome mansions and quaint country roads. This is a really special part of Florida with upscale dining and unique antiques and historical significance.

Stayed in the Gentlemans Lounge on the first floor. Filled with baseball memorabilia from many years past, this room proved most interesting to my husband. Loved the cozy robes provided. A true step back in time.

By far one of the best bed and breakfast at ever been at. Clean, beautiful and very well manicured not to mention the fact that the gentleman who owns the place served us hand and foot. He is a total people person and you will have not only a great stay but good conversations with him. We felt like we...

The house was restored by the owners and has a fascinating history. The rooms were lovely. A few minor things that keep it from being great--the hot water took FOREVER to reach the room. All that restoration does not come inexpensively though. The hosts are grand people and we enjoyed our stay. All in all, a neat experience.

I had the privilege of going to the Mc Farlin House for my Birthday. I had Havana,Fl. on my bucket list for at least 20yrs. There are no places in Havana so Quincy is only 12 miles away. The B&B was lovely. We stayed in the "Gentleman's Quarters" room. The weather was chilly and the room had a wonderful gas...

My wife and I have been in B&B's before especially in the oldest town in the USA. We've expected that these would be the best, we were wrong. The McFarlin house surpasses all. This home was not just gorgeous but the hospitality was a warm as the home itself.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely B&B in Louise's Loft, a room on the third floor with Tiffany stained glass above the bed. The breakfast was very good; we had fresh fruit, pastries, a breakfast sandwich, and bacon with choice of beverage. Would recommend getting one of their packages for special occasions--the strawberries with chocolate fondue and sparkling...

Years ago we learned that our vacations needed to be more than just about the destination, they needed to be about experiencing every moment in between. Staying in a restored mansion in the deep south, provides that more than any hotel can. From the extravagant breakfast to the amenities, there truly is nothing like it. We have come back for...
