We went to ClubMed Sandpiper Bay October 3-5 for my husband's 40th birthday. The resort exceeded my expectations! We had a great experience. This is the only resort in the states that is all inclusive!!!! The drinks were great! The morning crew was the best!!!! Keyla makes the best drinks. Then we have Anouk and Hunter from the water activities, they were awesome! Anouk is crazy funny, friendly and knowledgeable! Boating school was not boring with her. She mentioned that she might be transferring to another Club Mee location, my biggest regret is not writing down the info. I would definitely make a trip outside of the country to see her again. Hunter was very kind and funny. I can't forget to give a shout out to Kaylin! She is one of the lifeguards, she makes laying out in the sun fun! Instead of sitting or standing and watching, she actually talks to people. My kids loved her. She was cane to say bye to us on our last day at the resort, this was special to us because she was off. She didn't have to make the effort to find us and wish us well. I hope to see her again in the near future!!! Thank you Kaylin for making our trip so memorable. The food was good, the dinning team did a great job with meeting covid-19 standards. Presentation was perfect! Everything lookee amazing and everything tasted amazing! Options and variety was nice. My only complaint would be checking in at 4pm, that's a very late check in for the price you pay. We paid extra to check in early, which allowed us to swim, eat and take advantage of the water sports, but rooms weren't ready until after 4pm, that was slightly annoying. Otherwise everything was perfect. I truly can not wait to book my next trip to ClubMed!

Food, food, food....Despite limited options for restaurants, you will not be disappointed in the quality, variety, execution, or presentation. Every meal was elevated and delicious. from clearing plates to bussing tables and cleaning - Every member of the kitchen staff deserves accolades for their craft and hard work. Chef Brian, Chef Anna, and Chef Andre are standouts - but all members should be proud. Bar staff and drinks were excellent. While the beer choices and house wine selections were very limited (you had two choices) - the do have a great elevated cocktail list and the bar staff made great drinks. Tiffany, Tony, and all the rest where superb - can't remember all their names, but they were all friendly and lively and worked so hard and never slowed down... We took advantage of eating on the Terrace every night (which does require a purchase off their wine list) which was great. Gustavo was an amazing host/server; attentive, kind, and always made sure our needs were met. The sommelier, Brandon was an amazing person and host (he also hosts the "Living Room" at night (which I also recommend - does require purchases, but great selection of wines, champagne, and premium spirits) - Brandon and Mark made our trip so much more enjoyable and relaxing. We also took part in the wine tasting night which was a 4-course paring on the terrace. Highly recommend. Resort was easy to walk around and everything was close - easy for those with mobility restrictions. The grounds crew were always cleaning and making the resort beautiful. We mostly made use of the Infinity Pool and Bar area and was perfect for taking in the views and relaxing in a cabana Rooms are easily accessible from anywhere on the property and are spacious and comfortable. Great walk-in closets! Plenty of space for all your hangings and cubbies for all your belongings. Good water pressure in the shower and quick to heat up. Bed was big and comfortable and the premium wi-fi worked great (as I did have to remotely work some of the time) Overall, definitely recommend. Normally, we tend to be more island travelers, but will certainly be going back to Sandpiper Bay! Thank you to all who made our trip a fantastic one!

I am so late writing this review. We went in September of this year for my husband's and my birthday and our wedding anniversary! First of all the grounds at this resort are just lovely. The tropical foliage, the landscaping and the multiple areas to lounge and relax are just delightful. There are tons of outdoor daybeds, sofas and loungers with umbrellas. The walking paths are safe and well lit and the entire resort is really walkable. They are taking all the necessary COVID-19 precautions. The entire staff wears masks the entire time, guests are required to wear masks inside of any building. There are temperature checks at reception and the main restaurant when you walk in. We saw housekeepers and groundskeepers cleaning the entire weekend. Our room was a Family Superior room facing the sunrise and the bay. The king sized bed was comfortable, the room spacious and a family with younger children would fit just fine. There are an additional 2 day sofas that act as twin beds for the kids. There is a very large closet with iron and board, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. Double separate vanities make it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. This is the only All-Inclusive resort in the United States and that means everything is included! All of our meals, drinks (alcoholic and non) snacks, activities (except motorized water sports) entertainment and sports were part of the deal! I even got to experience TRAPEZE school and "fly through the air with the greatest of ease!" The staff at this resort are such wonderful people from the Interim Manager, Sarah who was EVERYWHERE making sure all the guests were having a good time to Joaquin, the bartender at the Adults Only Pool Infinity Bar (ask him for HIS rum punch, no one else does it better). Nickole at reception checked us in and gave me a tour of the entire property and she really knows her stuff! Ben and Z were very patient with this middle aged lady on the trapeze. They made sure I felt confident and empowered. Allison in the boutique went out of her way to make sure I found the right size "45" shirt and the entire store was so nicely displayed. Ethan and Parker at the Slice Bar knew exactly how to mix my morning coffee and my nightcap! Allison (the main pool life guard) was a true sweetheart. Did I mention that there is a main pool, a lap pool, a kiddie pool and an adults only infinity pool? There is also 2 workout rooms and a spa. My husband used the gym but I didn't get a chance to make a spa appointment (next time). There is a small beach area (on the bay/river) and it is manned by the most awesome Woman Anouk. She absolutely made sure that we were signed up for sunset sail, kayaking and all activities water related. She is joined by Mike and our favorite (I think my husband and I adopted him) Grant at the beach (he does the sailing lessons and makes sure everyone has a good and safe time on the water). When my evening Kayak tour got cancelled because of rough waters, Grant made sure he had tons of games like cornhole, dominos, macala etc. available until the weather cleared up. We really felt like we got to know this young man, and we can't wait to come back to see him and the entire staff again. I experienced my first time riding a jetski here and that was so much fun! They also have waterski, tubing, and fishing charters available. There is an additional charge for this, but you can charge it to your room and pay when you check out. Sounds like paradise right? True perfection? Well, of course, nothing is perfect so if you are looking for ultra modern, luxury accommodations, then this is not the place for you. It is an older resort, but very well kept and clean. We did experience some ants our first night (this is Florida) but housekeeping came in and did a completely thorough cleaning of our room and the beds and we didn't have a problem after that. Club Med Sandpiper Bay is all about fun activity, good food, fun interactions with staff and enjoying yourselves and your family.
